Best Pizza plus more!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been to Gennaro's several times now and will continue to come back. I was never a white pizza fan previously but I tell you what you must try this places white pizza!! It's Amazing, the fresh herbs and cheese melts in your mouth. I am a salad girl so I say strat with either there Ceasar or House, ... either way you can't go wrong.. Oh, wait the anitpasta is tasty too!! The service was prompt and very friendly. The Calzones might take a bit of time but well worth the wait. I would say don't skip on desert either the canole was great.

Excellent Pie!!

This place would easily compete in Brooklyn. I've been looking for a good pie in town for a long time now and this place is it. Very tasty pizza and the sausage rolls are excellent. Definately glad I found this place!

Great food!!!

I have eaten at Gennaro's 3 times now and love it. My favorite is the white pizza. My kid says they have the best chicken strips in town. There pizza is great. We have picked up 2 times and it has always been ready and fresh when we got there. Finally we have good pizza in the south chandler area. They need to get the delivery going soon.

Not a good first impression.

Went for lunch. The Calzones require 20-30 minutes so it's not quick. The pizza slices I had were ok. Nothing special. Not enough sauce for me. Coworker had Chicken Parmesan. The chicken was burned and tough - it was literally black on the outside all the way around. Looked like the tried to hide it with the cheese on top but didn't work. The marinara sauce on the pasta was watery so the chicken was sitting in a puddle on the plate. Not appetizing at all. Too pricey for the quality and lack of full service. We may give it one more chance as it was brand spankin' new and just opened. Perhaps they need to work out the kinks. But, if it's this bad again, we will not return.

• Cons: food is really not very good at all
