Awful Care, Beware

In dealing with my pet's illness, I had appointments with three different doctors all with different opinions and courses of treatment. When I called the clinic for more information, I often had to hold for 10-15 minutes before the staff answered the call and then continue to hold while they found out the information. Even in dealing with this clinic for three months, the staff did not take note of either my name or my pet's name. You'd think after 9-10 phone calls, they'd know. When I went to settle a bill after an additional test was ordered, it took 1/2 hour just to pay it. The doctor did not take the time to come out and speak to me and I was told by the staff that they did not know what the doctor was going to do, if another prescription would be ordered, etc., as though it was an inconvenience to ask these questions.

Throughout this experience, the impression I've received from Alta Vista Animal Hospital is that they don't care. This practice is a business. Customer service, quality nor consistency are concerns. Do not take your animal to Alta Vista Animal Hospital! Find another vet instead.

Terrible treatment

Alta Vista used to be a great place to take your animals. It has become increasingly bad over the years and I have pulled all of my business from them. The technicians were abusive and added items to my bill that I declined. They turned a docile, loving but sick puppy into a monster through their mishandling. Obviously don't know how to handle animals well at all. Price have climbed and service has plummeted. Beware and avoid.

Great Experience!

Amazing people! Everyone was VERY kind here, including Meghan and Angie! I've taken all my pets there, and every visit has consisted of timely visits, kind staff, and nothing but the animals best interest at hand! The prices are worth the service, and you get what you pay for! I believe the owner has done very well in his business and hiring on a fantastic team! Thank you!

BEWARE!!!

Alta Vista has been the worst vet experience of my life. They are all about the all mighty dollar. So, if you care anything about the way you and your pet are treated I would recommend staying away from Alta Vista.
