Best Fast Mexican Food in Phoenix

I love this place. The salsa is hot and perfectly delicious. The tacos are awesome. My favorite thing to order on the menu is the beef taco salad with guacamole and sour cream--then you have to douse it in the salsa. We always order an extra quart of salsa. I was sad to see that another reviewer had a bad experience. I have been going there for four years and it's always amazing. the staff is friendly and welcoming, and know our order at this point. We take all of our friends and out of towners there. It's a definite must-try. Burro Co is the only place I constantly crave.

Great "fast food"

Very friendly staff, excellent food, good prices. If you are in a hurry this is the place. I get the shrimp burrito and have had the quesadillas, both are awesome. The salsa is so good, although it can be pretty hot sometimes! I take all my out of town guests here!

Good Food, Better Value

The Burrito Company is one of the best restaurants in Ahwatukee. The food is fantastic, especially the breakfast burritos.

While the first reviewer listed "old part of town" as a con, it really isn't very old. Even if it is "older", it is not a gangster-infested neighborhood.

One con is that it is often crowded. While the service is quick, one may have to wait 5 minutes to order on a busy night. Also, the restaurant is popular with much of the local police, so many of the parking spots are taken by cops. Lastly, it is next to a liquor store, where the company is not as pleasant.

All in all, the burrito company is good food at a great value. It is great for high-schoolers who are looking for lots of good food without spending a lot of money. I give this restaurant my highest recommendation.

Head for the border instead!

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat good mexican food. Taco Bell has more flavor with their mystery meat than this place does.

My wife and I have been to this place twice (we like to give a place a second chance) and both times, the food was really bad. Small amounts of bland meat, under a mountain of shredded lettuce, cannot even be called mediocre mexican food. Please do not mislead readers by calling this the 'Best'.
