Worst Service EVER!. Worst Service I ever had! Our party waited over an hour and a half for food to arrive, we waited 20-30 minutes for chips & salsa and even for them to bring us drinks!! When we complained about the long wait the manager and owner did not want to hear it! It was obvious they don't want to improve their restaurant by listening to customer suggestions. They were rude and flat out did not care to insult US paying customers for letting them know their food took too long!! We will never go back, good Mexican food can easily be found anywhere and this place was pricey and the food was mediocre, so you won't be missing anything by skipping this place and going somewhere else were customers are valued!  View Less View More

WOULD NEVER GO BACK!!!. This place was recommended by friends. The patio was very appealing but the rest was horrible. I was very taken back by how rude our server was and lack of knowledge she had. She was very pushy. I hadnt even took two bites of my food before she asked if we wanted dessert. Towards the end of the evening she handed us the check and basically said to hurry and pay because she wanted to leave. I was a server for many years so this is very unacceptable. The food took a long time and I was very disappointed by the portions and prices. I could easily get more authentic mexican food for a fraction of the price. I was soo mad that I wasted my time and money here. I would never go back and I wish I would of read the reviews before I tried this place.  View Less View More

Nice patio but the rest is a disaster. Full review on Yelp as you can only paste 2000 characters on here... Unprofessional staff, food is expensive and of cheap quality. Horrible experience and I would give you money to go somewhere else.  View Less View More

El Zocalo Mexican. We just had lunch there and with 10 tables full and 4 servers it took on average 15 minutes for water, 15 minutes for a drink and 30 minutes to get our appetizer. We ordered fish tacos from the menu and was informed that they no longer offered them but they did not have time to update the menu!

Not a good experience.  View Less

Amazing. This place is a must. I'm not a big Mexican food fan,but I loved the enchiladas at this place. YUM!

Great Food but be prepared to wait for it. El Zocalo has a great location and a terriffic atomsphere. The seating on the patio is recommended and you can enjoy live music on the weekends. Now let me get to the food, delicious! The salsa is freshly made and very good but could have been a bit spicier. We ordered the side of guacamole and it was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed my red chili chimi server enchilada style. Over all the service was good but there was a long wait for a table. I also found the portions to be on the small side for the prices they charged. Bottom line we will go back?  View Less View More

Very Friendly Atmosphere. My husband and I love this place. We moved to Chandler 2 years ago and we go usually 3 times a month. Ben the bartender is great. The owners Pam and Abed are always friendly and are very approachable. We have made many friends here. The patio is beautiful. Friday nights they always have a band. And the food is great. We love the Carne Asada. The chips and salsa are best we have ever had.  View Less View More

Great Bar Atmosphere. We really enjoy going to El Zocalo on Friday nights. The drinks are the best and the people are so friendly. We don't mind waiting at the bar for our table and sometimes we eat at the bar. We've made many friends there. The food is made fresh and not made that morning and warmed up, I appreciate the fresh food. Well worth the wait. Tha patio is gorgeous, great for a date night. Two different entertainers on Fridays. Try it, you'll be glad you did.  View Less View More

Awesome music! Great service!. I really enjoy this place. I have eaten there a few times, but I mostly enjoy the night life at El Zocalo's. They always have a great band playing on friday nights. There is always a great crowd. They have excellent customer service and there is no coverage charge. It is a great relaxed place where you could always hear a great variety of music. See you friday night!  View Less View More

Nice Spot in Downtown Chandler. The food here is pretty good. By pretty good, I mean its not exceptional; the chicken mole is a little flat, and the enchilada sauce is at least not canned. The pollo asado is very good, although the portion of chicken is a little small. The charro beans are pretty good as well. When I like about this place is the patio. Its mostly shaded and makes for a nice outdoor dining experience. I also like that this place is just up the street from Devlins Marketplace, and a couple of boutiques. In short, its a great location and the food is pretty good.  View Less View More
