Left high and dry

Valet parking at resort wrecked a ladies bmw who was there to go to spa. Resort refuses to pay full damages to the car. The situation was even aired on a bit called "Three On Your Side" here in Phoenix!!
There are resorts here in the valley that are just as, if not MORE beautiful and they wouldn't do this to a person. 3/3/08

In Short
The Boulders is built against dramatic rock formations in the desert foothills 33 miles north of downtown Phoenix. Guests can golf on two championship courses, go mountain biking or hiking on nearby desert trails or visit the Golden Door Spa. More adventurous guests can rock climb, book a desert Jeep tour or arrange for a hot-air balloon ride. North Scottsdale and other nearby shopping and entertainment areas are a short drive away.
Amazing

This secluded resort is located in one of the most scenic and surreal landscapes in the southwest. The adobe style casitas are spread amongst immense volcanic boulders and huge cacti. There's a large rock formation in the middle of the property. Both 18 hole courses are scenic and challenging. Too bad this land wasn't preserved as a public park. The service, food and amenities have apparently faded a bit since the resort was purchased by Wyndham. Some of the best staff migrated to the Four Seasons.
- Pros: Scenic
- Cons: Expensive
