Went to the Bamboo Club on Shea in Scottsdale on 11/28/08. This place is great if you like the same atmosphere as Claim Jumpers, and being surrounded by children in height chairs, and food that lacks flavor, the general feeling that you are in a chain type of establishment. I had the Lemon Grass steak with brown rice... The brown rice was like a rice pilaf type-not an Asian type, and for the first time in my life-I had rice with no flavor or tatse-BLAND... The steak was barely warm, and very chewy. We had the Crispy Crab Dumplings as an apetizer. All we could tatse was warm cream cheese-that seemed like it was straight out of the container from the local store. ery Dissapointed--the Bamboo Club web site will lead you to believe that you are going to feel like you are at a high-end, sophiscated establishment--VERY False..
- Pros: Plenty of Parking.
- Cons: 1-hour of my life I will never get back.

A fun place to join friends for lunch or the get together after work. The Bamboo Club is centrally located, so it is an easy-to-meet place for everyone.

We love John G. A very knowledgeable and professional waiter. He has made our experience pleasurable each and every time. He makes recommendations and knows how to describe the menu items to a tee.
The food is great, consistent and the atmosphere is perfect for groups large and small.
- Pros: Great Service, Great Food. Consistent!
- Cons: Sometimes it can be a little noisy.

this place has consistently failed to meet my expectations. i usually always give restaurants more than one chance. this place was much better before they corporatized. they are now about turning and burning the customers and food quality has gone down dramitically. the lettuce was always wilted and the food was served cold.
Pan-Asian cuisine in a sophisticated setting.

In Short
This dark, sleek restaurant consistently wins raves from locals who love both the dramatic decor and trendy Pan-Asian cuisine. The menu is organized primarily by cooking style and categories that include foods that are steamed, grilled, sizzled, wokked, noodled, deep-fried and barbecued. Within those styles are specialties from China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia. Everybody loves the signature crackling calamari salad and the deep-fried spinach.

Discovered this great restaurant by accident! Was planning to go to a brewery in the same parking lot and walked over to view the menu and decided to take a chance. Atmoshphere was fabulous, Our Server Corey, was so friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. The Calamari Salad was not to be believed---delicious as were the Summer Rolls. Chilean Sea Bass cooked to perfection and Hong Kong steak was huge as well as delectable. A Perfect Experience
- Pros: Atmosphere, Service, Food
