Like the Manicures

I just moved to the area, and had been looking for someone to do my nails. I had walked by this salon a couple of times and finally made an appointment with Stacee. She did a great job with my nails. The salon is clean, great comfortable sofas in the waiting area and everyone was really friendly. I did not have time for a pedicure today, but am going back in the morning to get one. Can't wait.

Really friendly

I had a great experience at Waves Salon in Scottsdale. Went in to check the place out, and one of the girls had some extra time, so I got a haircut. It turned out great. I actually like the place so much, that I am going to go back there real soon for a manicure and a facial. Parking was easy too.

Fantastic and Friendly for Cuts, Color, Nails and Facials

As the two previous reviews are old and dated, I think it is important to let everyone know how great this salon and day spa is. All of the ladies that work here are true professionals and perform fantastic services. Donna and Stacee are great with cuts and colors, Faye does wonderful manicures and pedicures, and Anke gives the absolutely greatest facials I have ever had. The ladies are very welcoming, friendly and attentive to the clients needs. Last time, I was there on a Friday and had a nice glass of wine to decompress after a long week.

The location is great, and the strip mall the salon is located in, just got repainted into this beautiful mixture of deep caribbean colors. You cannot miss it. The salon motif is a beautiful and welcoming environment for both men and women with a twist on one of the owner's fascination with ancient Egyptian art and sculpture.

Don't bother.

They are stuck up, it is overpriced, and they do a half-hearted job. This salon doesn't care about getting the proper training or how your hair looks as long as they're making money.

Waves: Worst Salon in Arizona

WORST SALON EXPERIENCE EVER! I did not get what I asked for and my hair was ruined. When I left the salon my hair was breaking off, it was uneven, and the streaks that I never asked for looked like they were done weeks earlier. When I called the owner she was rude, did not answer my calls for more than a week after, and hung up on me more than once. She treated me like dirt and told me I was just trying to scam her because she was too cheap to fix my hair and didn't want to refund my money. She told me "they can't guarantee my hair will come out the way I ask". She knows nothing about customer service and should not be running a business. I did not get what I paid for and I hope no one else has to go through this.

Best salon in town

When i first moved to Scottsdale, i tried out many different salons which i found very disappointing. Then i found waves, and they always make my hair look beautiful. They are the best salon in town with out a doutb!

WAVES makes WAVES

Come on in, it feels like home. Men and women alike come to Waves for the friendly, competent, up-to-date and no fuss approach to cutting and coloring hair. While your there, have your nails done and get a massage. But my favorite part about WAVES is the fact that people always ask me, who does your cut and color? I always tell them, Linda does my cut, Donna does my color and together they always make it look fresh and up-to-date no matter what style or color I am wearing at the moment! Need a change? Go to either of these ladies for a style that suits your hair, style and life. Melena does an excellent job also!

• Pros: Not Over Priced, Great Cuts and Color, Easy Parking
• Cons: Hours Open, Not as Lush as Some
