Best Hair Cut/Style
by SueA1 at Citysearch
Fabulous salon with wonderful energy, excellent service and a tasty free coffee bar. I get my hair cut and weaved by Paco. He is professional but fun and easy to talk to. My hair has never looked better since I started going to Paco several years ago. He has tons of experience and new ideas, and attends seminars regularly in New York to keep abreast of the latest trends, styles and products. Paco's cuts are actually workable, meaning when you get home you can easily replicate what he did in the salon. He is never pushy with trying to sell products, which I really appreciate. If he does recommend a product to me, I know is it genuinely something I will be able to use and that will improve the appearance of my hair. Most importantly, Paco values my time. He never keeps me waiting for more than a few minutes. I highly recommend this salon and the best hair guy in the business, Paco. He will never steer you wrong, and your hair will never look better.
- Pros: Friendly staff, great coffee bar, easy parking, relaxing, fun atmosphere
- Cons: None
Great stylists,Good people

I do not write reviews. There is a first time for everything! I visited Pucci for the first time on April19,2008. My appointment was made with Rhonda. I chose Pucci after visiting Citysearch, seeing they had a good rating and were in the area of Scottsdale that I was visiting.
I was in desperate need of a color correction and cut and style. Rhonda did a great job of explaining my options to me and helping to select a style for my type of hair and face shape. She was very friendly and did a wonderful job on my hair.
Pucci's is a large and very busy place. The music was not loud or obnoxious, but the chatter level can get loud. A lot of people having a good time. Kind of like a big party. They have a coffee bar and are more than happy to fix anything you might like.
I would like to mention that I am a diabetic and while I was there my sugar level dropped dangerously low. The management, receptionist and Rhonda all stayed with me while I ate and offered me what I believe must have been parts of thier own lunches to be sure that my level came back up and that I was alright.. I know that they were all very busy and I really appreciated that kind of concern. Especially from people I had just met! I will definately be back and I promise no more emergencies!!!
- Pros: Lively,busy place. Great staff,Great work

I have been following Randy for the last few years and I can tell you that he is a wonderful hair stylist. He has great ideas, spends time discussing options and does excellent work. When I have referred others, they agree too! So if you want a quality stylist that is also fun, call Randy Holland at Pucci!
CALL RANDY!

People are nice, but their are some challenges with this shop
by happypup at Citysearch
Over all it was a nice salon. I have mixed emotions about even writing a review, but feel my experence should be told.
I had my make-up done their for a special occasion. The make-up womens hands shook so bad she actually held her right wrist with her left hand trying to steady it. On top of that challenge, the location where the make-up was applied was half in sunlight and have indoor lighting. It had to be very hard for her to get the makeup the same on both sides of my face. This was apparent on by eye make-up and lips, both were very uneven when I was at a different station getting my hair done up.
The result of the make-up artist with extremely shaking hands applying make-up, lip line hand lines all over my bottom lip, not smooth. Eye make-up again the eyelines was almost like little lines going upward instead of a smooth line across the eyelid and under the eyelid. I felt very bad for her, came home and removed all the make-up, not what I really wanted to do. When I tried to let her fix the mistakes, she was very defensive and still could not keep her hands steady. Kind of scary to have someone with sharking hands and an eye pencil polking at your eyes. That's why I desided to just leave and redo it at home.
For anyone that does not want to go thru what I did I strongly suggest you do not let this salon apply make-up for anything special.
- Pros: Nice staff, friendly
- Cons: hard location to find, if looking for make-up application go somewhere else

I have been going to Pucci now for almost a year, after spending years searching for a knowledgeable and caring stylist. After (MANY) bad haircuts from varying salons, I finally landed an expert stylist that has helped me go from Broom-head Brunette to Lucious silky locks. As well their facials are to die for, and their prices are actually reasonable. From someone who has been to salons all over the valley, Pucci is at the top of my list.
Pucci

Cost low - Plush LOW - While I had no problem getting an appointment at Pucci, and the cost was resonable, the envionment was less than fully restful. There were private changing and treatment rooms but the waiting area did not coccon me as many day spas have, thus leading to a less restful experiance. The Styliest and Estheticians were WONDERFUL and knowlegeable. The treatments were fairly varied. My facial was awesome and made my skin feel wonderful! The salon is professional and well rounded as well.
