I would highly recommend. I have gone back into the grooming area and have also waited in the front lobby area as their clients came and went, and I witnessed nothing but the up most professionalism and superior customer service.



In the time I've spent at Applewood, I have never seen one of their clients dissatisfied!



Edwin was referred to me by a friend of mine and has done an outstanding job of grooming my dog. He has also been gracious enough to show me a few simple steps on how to keep up on the grooming in between visits!



I would highly recommend Edwin and Applewood to anyone looking for a top notch grooming and boarding facility!…

Expert grooming; exceptional service. I found my experience at Applewood to exceed my expectations. You never know what to think coming into a new grooming facility. Especially in a new area (new to me) with a top ranking show dog. The groomer not only followed my suggestions, he (Edwin) provided some tips for supplements and products that I could try on my own to enhance my dog's performance and appearance.

The front desk people - Paula in particular - were kind, friendly and met my arrival with urgency.

Awesome Applewood. What a wonderful resort for my 2 little dogs. I moved to Arizona not long ago and have been to many dog kennels but this is 5 star all the way!!! The grounds are beautiful the resort never smells and the staff are happy you are there. I have been 3 times since I moved here and each time my dogs are very happy to be going. They love the peanut butter kong and the outings out in the big grass yard. I have them groomed every time and they have never looked better. I recommend this pet resort believe me it is the BEST!!…

I love applewood!!. I also wanted to chime in, I have been taking my dogs to Applewood to be groomed and boarded for years. Edwin has been grooming dogs for a long time, and I have been thrilled. My dogs are always happy to go in and happy when I pick up. I spend part of this hot, hot Arizona summer up north and drive down here to have my dog groomed, because I cannot find anyone who does anything close to the job Edwin has done on my dogs. He is the is the only one I found that understands the hand stripping process, and time involved. Hand stripping (in my opinion) is a dying art, and it had been impossible to find anyone that does it correctly. Edwin has always handled them with the utmost care to make their grooming a positive one. I also board my dogs there and have been very pleased, I love that they can go out in huge real grass play yards for play times, they love it!! Also the staff has always been great, they know my dogs by name, and they barrel in the door to get their belly rubs.…

Love this resort. I must comment after reading some of the reviews!!! My dogs love Applewood. They wag and bark when they arrive and tell me about it when I take them home. I have found reception to be very nice and always there to help me with the dog supplies. I love the grooming shop - all my dogs look and smell great. The dogs would tell me if something was not right by tail down and not wanting to come inside the resort. I know many customers in my area that love Applewood and will not go back to other kennels. I have never had any problem with any of my dogs and I have been going there for over 5 years.…

DON'T GO TO APPLEWOOD!. This place sucks. The front desk staff is snotty, arrogant, and stupid -- a great combination. The groomer, Edwin, is very well known to be "unkind" or cruel to dogs he is grooming -- and I have personally seen him be very rough and hurtful while grooming a dog.

If you want some one to take good care of your beloved family member, do NOT go the Applewood.…

Applewood Pet Resort. We had always heard good things about Applewood and the location is very close to us so we left our 3lb Maltese while we went on vacation for a week. I called daily to ask them if he was eating okay and they always said yes that he was fine. When we came to pick him up, he was near death. We took him to the Emergency Pet Clinic because our vet was closed and they put him on IV's and said it wasn't the first time they had pets from there in the same situation. I write this because it is vacation time and I don't want other loving pet owners to go through the pain that we did with our little baby. The other irritating thing is that when we tried to talk to Applewood about this, they never returned our calls or answered our emails or letters.

We are fortunate our little guy survived but we will never trust any pet with Applewood again!…

day care. I work long hours and I love the fact that Applewood is there on the way to work and ready to whisk my dogs from me. The front reception employees are there to help - I feel they understand that I am in a hurry every AM. My dogs would spend all day making a big mess if I didn't have daycare. The dogs love Applewood Day Care and so do I.…
