Great Pizza
by Bob1975 at Citysearch
I am a pizza snob. I love it and can't eat one that's sub-par. But I must say that Oregano's thin crust pizza is fabulous. The sauce is perfect and the crust is baked to perfection. I went there for a friend's birthday and have been a repeat customer ever since.
- Pros: Everything
- Cons: None.
The Best in Gilbert!

I don't know what to start with, the food, ambience, service, menu! Everything here is top notch. The food in original and fresh to order. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The outside Patio is wonderful with a true Bistro feel. We take family and friends here often and the family style servings are always a great option. Try this restaurant and you will defianately be hooked!
- Pros: Original food, hot and fresh. Clean and friendly. Wonderful Patio!
- Cons: nothing
My favorite restaurant in Phoenix!

Oregano's is one of the best restaurants in town. The wait staff is always friendly and the food is fantastic (and reasonable too)! Sometimes it takes awhile to be seated, but it is worth the wait! It is a fun atmosphere and a great experience for out-of-towners. Also, you have to try their pizookie!
- Pros: customer service, food, value...
- Cons: sometimes a long wait or difficult parking (some locations)

I love this place. The Beefstro Salad is unbelievable! and the Deep Dish Pizzas are worth the wait. I have never had an item at Oregano's that I did not like. For an appetizer, I recommend the Guaca-Tony.
We visit as often as possible.
- Pros: Great Atmosphere, Great Food
- Cons: Limited Parking, Long Waits
OBSESSED
by defyinggravity05 at Citysearch
Ok so I might be slightly biased, but I went to high school about four blocks from Oregano's and literally came here 3-5 times a week for lunch/dinner. It is the most fun restaurant I have ever been to... Granted, I know all of the waiters and they usually will dish out free drinks or comp a salad or pizzookie, but it is just an awesome, awesome place. The salads are excellent (try ordering the italian chicken on a salad instead of the regular chicken... not on the menu, but reeeeeeeeally good), the pizza is awesome, and the pastas are good (especially Zany Ziti) though perhaps not the best ever created. But great garlic bread, great atmosphere, and an most of all, the pizza cookie (pizzookie) is THE most wonderful thing ever created and ABSOLUTELY worth the necessary trip to the gym following dinner. They have white chocolate macadamia nut and peanut butter chocolate chip now, but classic chocolate chip is unstoppable. It's also nice to get ice cream on the side because then it doesn't smush the cookie... if that bothers you, haha. In any case, it is absolutely incredible and a necessary follow-up to dinner. If you don't want to wait, the best thing to do is eat at a semi-awkward time... particularly between 2:30pm-4:45pm. Before/after that, expect a decent wait (normally at least 20-30 minutes)... but it is worth it.... And the small size maintains the familial atmosphere (you'll understand). Also, it's definitely better for groups of 4 or less.
- Pros: Pizzookies (pizza cookies!) are AMAZING!, amazing staff, incredibly fun restaurant
- Cons: some pastas aren't fantastic (still quite good though... especially Zany Ziti), no rezzies
Best Casual Italian
by kknowlton at Citysearch
This restaurant is so fun and casual for either a couple or a big group of people. We typically go with four people, and order this appetizer called guacatony, a medium pizza, and this amazing pablo picasso salad that is so yummy. With tip and drinks and everything you won't spend more than $35 and you have leftovers for a week. So good! The only bad thing is that there is typically a long wait, but it is well worth it, and the atmosphere is just so fun anyways.
- Pros: Great Atmosphere, Excellent Food, Great Service
- Cons: Long wait
Fantastic Place To Eat
by garytarr at Citysearch
This pizza joint is awesome! Friendly service, great food, one of the best dining environments in the valley and you never leave hungry. The food is consistent and it feels like you are in a neighborhood house instead of a strip mall with no character. Why go anywhere else?
Always worth the wait
by oakramer at Citysearch
I usually go to the Scottsdale location once a month at least when my girlfriend is in town. There is always a wait because of the high quality of food and service. A lot of the servers have been there for years and remember my name when I come in. It just makes you feel at home when you eat and hang out there. Most restraunts level of service goes down with the more customers they service...Oregano's service level continues to accel no matter how many people cram in there. Always worth the wait :-)
Don't miss

The long waits attest to the quality of Oregano's. Not only is the food first rate, service is warm, friendly and just plain fun. The pizza is the menu focus, but try the salads (just wonderful), the soups (but not in summer), and the desserts while you enjoy the inventive surroundings.
We make it point ot eat at Oregano's virtually every time we visit Phoenix.
- Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Service
