The wait is part of the fun!
by mmllwright at Citysearch
My wife and I frequent this place and just love it. Have yet to get a bad meal and we order something different every time. If you hate a wait to be seated, than go to Pizza Hut, the wait in the bar is a great place to socialize, its half the fun. The bartender is the best in town, thanks Lars.

Not really an authentic Italian dining experiene, Oregano's offers modernized, neuvo Italian fare, nonetheless. It's casual atmosphere is perfect for a meeting place, prior to going the movies or shopping. Woa to those whom think you can quickly be in and out in an hour! If you have the time or order a pick up, give the Bianco a go! You won't be sorry.
- Pros: inexpensive, good eats, casual dining
- Cons: limited parking, waiting to be seated, waiting for food
PIZZA'S GREAT, BUT!!!
by captmiller1 at Citysearch
Oregano's pizza is great and it is a great place to hang out. However, I do have one complaint. Oregano's if your reading this, the salad and calamari are horrible. The lettuce tastes like rubber. The chicken on the chicken salad looks and tastes like sandwich meat from albertsons deli. Those calamari rings are just nasty and taste like they came from Costco. You have great pizza and the ambience of the place makes it a fun night out so why not finish the job and improve the rest of the menu?
- Pros: great pizza, great service, great price
- Cons: rubber lettuce, costco calamari, greasy pasta dishes

Pizzookie
by BObermiller_Citysearch at Citysearch
Not sure this is the best pizza in AZ, but the pizzookie and bruschetta are excellent. The Scottsdale. Tempe and downtown Phoenix locations are wildly popular -- to the extent that you sometimes have to wait an hour just to eat pizza. Order carryout on the weekends to avoid the wait. Pasta and salad portions are massive and the wait staff is incredibly casual and friendly.
- Pros: Pizzookie
- Cons: Crowded
