WOW, This resort has the feel of luxury from the moment you drive in. The plush, mature landscaping looks wonderfull. The main entrence is spectacular. The staff were very outgoing trying to antisipate our needs. The rooms are huge and the baths are even larger than my kithchen. The newly renivated rooms have plasma flat screens and those wonderfull beds... heavenly bed I believe. The view from our room was awsome, overlooking the pool. Their room service was wonderfull as they set up in our room as if we were in a fine dining restaraunt. The pools were plenty, with one for every like. The slide was fun and our children loved it. This is truly a resort of luxury and worth the money spent there.

Pros: Service is truly 5 diamond

Cons: pool water a little warm

Spa is dark and old. The hallways are so tiny and cramped in the spa that if there are more than two people it's a traffic jam. EVERYTHING in the resort is over priced. But for a really fun time, try and change your room. It's the thing nightmares are made of. For $300 - $400 a night I thought I would be able to look at something prettier than an adobe wall and tiled roof. There are a ton of resorts around the country - do your homework before you put down your hard earned money.

Beautiful resort if you laike conventions and hustle & bustle. Restaurnats are fair to middling. Other places in Phoenix that are more provate and provide better atmosphere.

Pros: Bright airy and well appointed

Cons: much too large for intimacy, restaurnts are not what one would expect, pricey and mediocre

this is a great and very helpful hotel. the staff is willing to help with ANYTHING! it was very relaxing to swim in the pools or play water basket ball with ome of the other guests. the waterslide was great and if it is open while you are visiting, i recomend it, no matter what age you are. we had to change rooms because ours was too far down the hall, and the front desk was more than happy to assign us a new room colser to our friends who were also staying in the hotel. if you would like a great, relaxing night, this is a superb hotel if you can affords it's prices. everything is a little pricey, but it's worth it on vacation. take a look at the shops, they are fun to look through even of you don't buy anything.

Pros: the brunch was great and the maids check on you room atleast 3 times a day. a bed rool down serive is avalably and the shampoos and lotions are very rich.

Cons: a bit pricey, but worth it comcidering the views and souroundings.

Everyone at The Phoenician was very pleasant and attentive. The service was outstanding. Our room was a good size and had beautiful views of the golf course and the mountains. The atmosphere of the resort was fun and relaxing. The pools were great and the food at the poolside cafe was exceptional. The spa complex was nice but the services were mediocre and outrageously overpriced. There are places in New York and Los Angeles with far better facilities and services for a smaller price tag.

Pros: Atmosphere, Facilities, Friendly Staff

Cons: Spa prices

I have been to The Phoenician at least ten times in the last 8 years. I used to consider it a home away from home...but just cancelled a reservation for March. During a number of recent phone calls, I found the staff rude and condescending and the place has definitely faded - the common areas need some sprucing up. For the amount you spend there, I think a little respect and attention would be warranted. There are plenty of other choices in the Valley!

The Phoenician is plush and rich, a great place for a weekend getaway or just a hot night out. Everything around you speaks of thought and money. The staff was attentive and well trained. Over all a great place if you can afford it.
