Wow this place has gone downhill. This place used to be good but now its horrible. I don't think the owner is there very often anymore because the last 3 times i went he wasn't there and its been worse every time. I won't even go there anymore for anything. When you show up, its take literally 20 minutes for someone to come over to you. The pizza comes out half thick crust half NYC thin crust. The pastries are old now, not fresh at all. The people that work there are retarded....I mean absolutely brain dead. And the prices in the deli/store are outrageous. Seriously, you can do better going to whole foods or trader joes....and for pizza grimaldi's or humble pie are way better. Stay away!  View Less View More

calzones. Since Amoroso's have changed owners it is sad to see how their food has really taken a toll. Not too long ago I went in and ordered a calzone and to much of my surprise they were pre-made. When I received my order it was cold and untasty. Being born into the restaurant business this is a major disappointment.  View Less View More

Just Like NYC. I lived and worked in the NYC Metro area for 20 years before moving to the Valley. Amoroso's is the place I have found that offers the best authentic NYC taste and atmosphere. It's where I take folks who think they know what pizza is all about, so that they can try the real thing!  View Less View More

Just like New York. Being born and raised in NY I am very critical of pizza and Italian food that I eat in other cities. Amoroso's served up the closest thing to home cooking I have had since the last time I went back to NY.  View Less View More

restaurant. Authentic italian, artichokes on the pizza, great wings, Italian behind and before the counter, cook flipping the dough for you, wonderful eclairs too. My office is near here and it's the group favorite for lunch. Also their sandwiches are the best! The prices are the most reasonable around. Try the Amoroso's vegetarian, it will amaze you!  View Less View More
