Bargain-priced Middle Eastern deli doubles as a grocery store.

This unpretentious strip-mall bakery and cafe serves fresh treats from the Middle East. The deli case displays a variety of salads, olives and cheeses, sold by weight, and pita bread is baked fresh every day. Budget-minded customers with a bent for the exotic begin arriving as early as 11am for crisp falafel, creamy baba ghanouj, hummus, tabbouleh, stuffed grape leaves and baklava. Take it to go, or enjoy amid the clutter of spices, cookbooks, Middle Eastern music tapes and prepared foods.

Overpriced

Being from the middle east, you would expect the full plates and stuff your face attitude...not here. The food is over priced. They are priced as if this is the only Middle Eastern place in Phoenix, its not. There fresh baked bread is wonderful though! I give them that!
