Great Music, cool atmosphere

IMPORTANT: Chez Nous is at a new location! 915 W. Grand Avenue Avenue (1/4 mile North of Van Buren on Grand). This place is a great find for anyone tired of your typical night out of AZ sports bars and Scottsdale clubs. Great vibe, good music, and interesting people. Classic R&B and great old school tunes that you can dance to if you like. Cover isn't expensive and it is always worth it. I wish I would have discovered this place sooner!

dark and cool

Very dimly lit and oozing with urban edgy coolness. Cheap, strong cocktails, old soul music playng at a nice volume and a true mixed crowd. Great lounge

In business since 1964, the black- and gold-flocked wallpaper, electric-candle fixtures, artificial waterfall and black vinyl booths are all original. Probably the most dimly lit bar in Phoenix, it's perfect for escaping the ridiculous summer temperatures with an icy martini. The young, attractive waitresses are toughies with hearts of gold, serving a mostly mature crowd, with a few young and eager subjects ordering appletinis and Voodoo martinis.

Eclectic and totally hip

Chez Nous in my opinion is not for the Chandler / Mesa / Scottsdale crowd its TOO cool. Were not talking Britney Spears cool were talking OLD SCHOOL COOL. If you ever lived in downtown Chicago, New York, Detroit or Philadelphia you probably have been to a bar similar to this. Straight, Gay, Black, White, Male, Female theyre all here.. having a great time! The Bartenders are great and so is the funk, soul, old school music.

Smokem if you got them

The only thing I really don't like about Chez Nous is the smoke problem. The bar is very small and with the majority of people smoking the non-smoker is in for a night of heavy second hand smoke. It keeps me from going even though I really like the bar.
