Disappointment

Durant's is supposed to be known for their wonderful dishes and unsurpassed service. Unfortunately, our last visit there was very disappointing. We visited on our way to the ballet on a Saturday evening. The food was luke warm at best, and the service was so slow we had to stop a busser to get our check so we could actually leave.

no longer a Phoenix tradition

Has become "tired".. Not the exciting Phoenix tradition it was 20 years ago. Have had 2 dreadful experiences with prime rib--so tough that it was "uncutable", not to mention "unchewable"! Service can be snotty-who needs that? Used to support "Dine out for AIDS"--no longer does it.
