GreatFood in a Goodwill Furnished Lounge
by armani3
When Mickeys Hangover first opened, its six founders had a dream of opening a bar in Scottsdale that would set itself apart from every other in the area by offering great service, cheap beer, and no worries of waiting in a line or paying cover. The six Mickeys owners ultimate plan was to use Mickeys to build capital to open SIX which would cater to the Merc Bar crowd in Scottsdale. After nearly 2 years of operation, Mickeys has since turned into a very successful venture on its own. It has recently fired or urged to leave all
of its lesser beautiful but still pretty servers and bartenders and hired an all new gorgeous assortment of blondes and brunettes. Plans to expand in the fall are currently in the works. An outdoor bar, a much larger patio and new pools tables are all on the drawing board.
- Pros: new servers are hot, Pizza tastes better
- Cons: Prices are increasing, T-Sandwich not asgood
Doubled billed...
by BuckTucker
Got my bill I held on card and paid in CASH, and left a 30% tip, 2 days later I see a debit on my card and next day it cleared with a tip added... i ended up paying over double and they don't return calls and email mailbox is always full.... BAD BAD service, watch your back and wallet!!! Better yet DONT GO THERE!
- Pros: NONE...wait the exit
- Cons: Waitress took my cash and billed my card as well
Pretty good!

After visiting four other bars, this was the first place I got decent service. The cute blonde girl behind the bar was very courteous, and made us feel at home. Other bars in Scottsdale would be advised to use this place as an example of real customer service. Mickey's was the one star in an otherwise dark sky.
- Pros: Cool people
- Cons: It's in Scottsdale

Phoenix's Official OHIO STATE BUCKEYES Headquarters

If you haven't been to Mickey's Hangover to watch an OSU Buckeyes Football game, you must!
Every Saturday, approx. 200-400 fans make their way to Mickey's to watch the OSU game.
Mickey's has some Ohio State favorites such as, grinders, pizza, sliders and Skyline chili cheese dogs.
Every year Mickey's announced a winner of the OSU vs. Michigan Ticket Giveaway contest, where Mickey's gives away 2 OSU vs. Michigan tickets to the person who brings the most fans into Mickey's for Ohio State football games throughout the course of the season. Not to mention, Mickey's hosts a huge tailgating block party every year for the OSU vs. Michigan game, where they fence off the parking lot and bring in a huge jumbotron to view the game on. (it's a MUST ATTEND event for all OSU & Michigan fans!)
- Pros: Great food, tons of HD tv's & projection screens, they know how to throw a party
- Cons: maybe more room is all, need to fit everyone in there
Best damn food in town - NEED TO CHECK OUT THE NEW MENU
by TomBGSU
I was just in Mickey's last week to find out they have a completely new menu, however, they did keep some of the signature Mickey's items on the new menu. During Saturday football, Mickey's offers a Football menu with all the game time favorites you would expect and much more. Then on Sunday, Mickey's Brunch from 8am-2pm is the best breakfast I have eaten in town as well. You have to check this place out!
- Pros: Great food, amazing Brunch 8am-2pm, have to order a Mickey's Bloody Mary
Awesome music, good food, great prices
by bradphx
Best music in Scottsdale, classic rock includes The Rolling Stones and James Brown. Really great service, friendly staff, one of those places like TGI's from years ago where they treat you like a long time friend. Incredible food, nice selection and surprisingly low prices.
- Pros: Staff can't be beat, atmosphere, music
- Cons: None
Out of control Bouncers
by westsideguy007
Last time i was here they sold us beers and then the loser bouncer came up and took them and said last call and threw them away laughing. I thought it was really lame and filled with drunk unattractive people anyways. Never go there again.
PBR bottles come in brown bags at this after-hours lounge in Old Town Scottsdale.

In Short
Photos of Mick Jagger, Mick Fleetwood and Mickey Mantle are just a few of the famous names adorning the walls of this faux-dive '50s lounge. Located across Drinkwater from Martini Ranch, the club's comfy chairs and sofas are the perfect after-hours respite for weary club-hoppers. Pabst Blue Ribbon bottles come in brown bags at this smoky blue-collar joint featuring a patio, big-screen TV and pool table. The DJ spins hip-hop, classic rock and more.
What a Gem!!!
by ekbcollins
First off, this place has the best music in town!! James Brown, Bob Marley, The Roots, and The Rolling Stones all under one roof!! The food is AMAZING!! and the service is very friendly (reminds me of Oregano's) and the prices? I can't believe how cheap this place is!!! It is really nice to know that there is a real place in Scottsdale that has a big-city neighborhood feel that does not feel the need to "spoon feed" the ever growing $30K Millionaire crowd egos, but stilll has a very cool (and really hot) staff that goes out of their way to make you feel special. Going to Mickey's is as comfortable as my favorite pair of blue jeans, I am just glad that there are still enough people that realize that this is probably the coolest place we have!
- Pros: Atmospehere, Salads, Prices
- Cons: Bathrooms
Good Times!!!
by tcyrils
The atmosphere was great, hot servers, good food, and plenty of drink specials that would appeal to anyone. A definite spot to hit when you're out on the Scottsdale circuit for the night. Oh yea, Mickey's Hangover probably has the best music for a bar/lounge in the area, the classic rock and Bob Marley tunes set the tone eveytime I walk in.
- Pros: Great Music, Good food, Drink Specials
