GOOD LOCAL BAR. i've been going here for the last couple years. the prices are awesome. places is big and they have poker nights. food is pretty decent too!

Funugyz Sports Grill. I love Funugyz! The food is usually very good for bar food. I like the atmosphere. There are several flat screen TV's with various sports showing. I have never had a problem finding something that interested me.

Most of the staff seem very nice except for one blonde waitress that always seems to be there. She always has a look on her face as if she has been sucking on lemons! If I can avoid her, I love the place. It is a nice place to kick back and enjoy.

They have many various activities to get involved in also. The have poker, trivia, Bingo, karaoke and sporting events!

One review I saw complained that they would need to pay a $5 cover. The bar was hosting a special UFC night and their standard cover for the UFC event is $5. Live with it! $5 is nothing for a good night of UFC.

Think again. Last Saturday night my boyfriend and I went over to the FuNuGyz which is near my house in Peoria. We wanted a different atmosphere to watch the NASCAR Daytona Race. (we've been there several times before) We are big race fans but it seems like everytime we go we have to beg for someone to change one of the many TV's to the race. no big deal .. but this time we ordered drinks and getting ready to order food when the waitress came over and asked us how long we were gonna stay and we said we did know ..why? she stated the manager told her to tell us that unless we paid $5.00 to stay that we would have to leave in 45 minutes because the "fight" was gonna come on. I was shocked.. We are not boxing fans and dont know anything about it. we just wanted to watch the race. anyway we ordered an appetizer and a burger (didnt have cheese and bacon on it like I ordered) never got an apology for the incorrect food. we ate quickly and left within our 45 minutes alloted..she stated that the manager was not watching too closely so it was ok to take our time eating. I'm amazed that we were treated this way. guess "them Gyz" dont recognize the fact that there are many different sports fans that come to their sports bar..i just want to add that when we left the bar was only half full, so its not like they were beating down the door to pay to watch the fight. Not sure if we will ever go back..
