Papa Bear is our favorite ac/plumbing
company in the valley. We have lived here 11 years and have tried many company's but they seem to be on the ball when we have any problems. We appreciate all the hard working techs/plumbers you have sent to service our homes. We will continue using you for our homes in Tucson and Glendale.
Thank You. -- Sheila Potter
I called many places that were rude or couldn't get to me in a timely manner. Papa Bear was fast and nice. Great service. I know its crazy busy around town being the hottest days of the year. You guys are great! -- Ruth Looney
One of our air conditioning units went out. I called the company that had installed the units when the home was built. They said they would call me right back to schedule an appointment. Three hours later I had not heard a thing. I was tired of waiting. My neighbor told me about Papa Bear. Within a half hour they called me back and scheduled me for the next morning, which is what I wanted. I called the other company back and they didn't even ask why I was canceling! --- Pierre Williams
I had talked to three companies regarding replacing my leaking water heater. Papa Bear came out as soon as they were done with another customer. They quoted a very competitive price and put my mind at ease with their great customer service attitude. We shook hands and the work began. They did everything they said they would do and very efficiently. -- Melissa
Had no clue that annual maintenance on my heating and air conditioning was just as important as an oil change on a car. At first I was apprehensive when they called to pitch the service to me but for $40 I thought... why not? Recently one of my neighbors was complaining about having to replace their entire system to the tone of 6k+ and I asked them if they ever maintained their system. The response was no and their system was only 7 years old but in Phoenix... I guess that doesn't matter. I'm o-k with paying $40 twice a year for maintenance to avoid a $6,000 bill I know I can't afford.
Do what you say you will do WHEN you
say you will do it! I have been waiting over two weeks for the pro-rated refund on my service contract, yet every time I call I'm told someone needs to "check on it." I think you just want to keep my money.
When I had the winter service and Jason quoted me the price for a new AC/heat pump, it was $4000 MORE than any other quotes I got. Yet he told me his company "watches out for the little guy." How is overcharging me by twice the going rate watching out for my interests? Now you seem to not want to return my money for the remainder of my service contract just because I didn't buy a new unit from you. Not good business.
Funny of the all the reviews listed on
this company are for violating the National Do Not Call List & yet nothing has been done to this company! I am also on the Do Not Call List have been for YEARS I get call ALL THE TIME from this Company despite speaking with Steven C who claims is the Office Supervisor. WELL JOIN ME FOLKS..... I HAVE JUST STARTED THE PROCESS & FILED A CLAIM WITH THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. PLEASE JOIN ME & LETS PUT A END TO THIS COMPANY BREAKING THE GOVERNMENTAL LAWS THAT ARE TO PROTECT US!
Another thing if you decide to use this company based on the very few good reviews I have found... Ask yourself how legit & trusting is a company the knownly continues to break the law?? If they can get away with with they can get away with pulling a SCAM repair on YOU!
I've been very happy with the professional, personable service of every employee from Solar Bear, whether they were salespeople or installers. Today, Justin did a great job installing my hot water heater. And Clayton, Justin, and David did an equally great job installing my new air conditioning unit. I look forward to continuing excellent customer service in the future from Solar Bear as they maintain my new units. Thank you!
I received a sales call from Solor Bear today. I asked the caller to please take me off of their calling list. He then became rude and asked in a sarcastic voice, *how do you know you want to be taken off a list when you don't even know anything about us?* He proceeded to continue talking without allowing me to respond. I finally hung up with the salesman still talking loudly in my ear. This kind of tactic will never work with most people I know.
