The best social club in Phoenix!!!!!. I joined Events and Adventures 6 1/2 months ago after putting it off for about a year! Each time I heard the radio ads I thought...I want to join!!! But, I didn't work up the nerve to call until around December 2010 and I AM SO GLAD I JOINED! I have been having THE TIME OF MY LIFE. The group is fun and dynamic, the events are adventurous and so, so fun! I thought it would be a bunch of chumps, but it is a huge group of local, single, pre-screened professionals who are looking to meet other quality singles and to get out of the house to be active and do the things we all love to do. I would recommend this club to anyone who is looking to meet quality, local singles in a safe and natural environment. I even met an amazing guy in the club so who knows what the future holds!!! Great Place to Meet People. So I wanted to meet people face to face instead of meeting online. I felt that it was more personal and I could get a better feel for who the person is and what they are truly like. I also like the fact every person who comes to the place have to be screened and admitted in. It isn't everyone just come on down. I have fun at every event I attend because they are events I want to be at and the people at the events are nice as well. Review Events and Adventures.
Doug E. Fresh has it wrong his review does not pertain to EventsandAdventures neither the club nor the Phoenix members allow conduct so
unbecoming as he describes. Further, his characterization as members being misfits and social outcasts is uncalled for and inaccurate at the least. I do not know why reviews such as his are allowed to be published. Shame on him and citysearch for lacking a better screening process.
One thing I can attest to as far as EventsandAdventures is that each and every human with a membership has been thru a rigorous screening process. I am wondering to myself if that reviewer is angry because he did not make the cut?? For the record this is an upstanding group of individuals that make up the entirety of the memberships I have found nothing that even remotely resembles actions such as Doug E. describes taking place. Quite the contrary...everyone is very self-respecting and also respectful of others.
And, these are healthy and attractive people frankly I am astounded by how wrong that reviewer is in his characterization. Thank God they weed folks like him out during enrollment. If he had made it to member then i might be inclined to agree that there were losers in the shadows...I assure you there is not and he is the type I feel fortunate I can pay to avoid.

Some Facts.
This Club is actually Adventures 2000 under a different name.
Take no offense but if you are a nerd, misfit, introvert, socially awkward adult, a social outcast, desperately lonely, etc. then this organization is for you! You will never see one member who looks remotely close to the smiling, good looking, healthy adult professionals in the photos on their website. I saw and met awkward, freaky humans that I had no idea actually existed in our society! I also witnessed some of the most bizarre and unhealthily adult behaviors that I have ever seen in my 40 years of life, or at least since my high school days! Women being stalked and cut off from the herd (group) to be pressured by desperate horny males, members meeting on a bus ride to an event and making out on the bus like in high school, extra martial affairs, Sodom and Gomorra activity, etc.
To join you are taken into a room with the door closed and subjected to pressure sales tactics like they do at car dealerships when you buy a car. Even worse, they play upon your human desires and emotions for the potential for a healthy adult relationship with a member of the opposite sex, or whatever you may be looking for. You will be told whatever you want to hear.
If this review is "music to your ears" then by all means join up! You will fit right in and have a great time. If you are a good looking, smiling, healthy adult professional like in the photos on their website then run for your life! Join match dot com or something where you are in control!

April's Events & Adventures Review.
Hank and I both joined Events & Adventures in early 2004. We first met at a group theater event which was also happened to be one of the
first experiences either of us had with Events & Adventures. Initially, we were paired with different people, including my girlfriend, who had attended the event with me, showing an initial interest in Hank. Over the next couple of years, Hank and I attended many of the same events. We’d gotten to know one another, did a bit of harmless flirting, a lot of laughing at life in general and marveling at how we kept finding the wrong people, but also remaining confident the right one was out there. It never failed – we’d get an invitation from Events & Adventures, review the details and always managed to run into each other along the way.
One night, during a Events & Adventures outing at the Hard Rock Café, and with both of us in attendance alone, I looked at Hank across the bar, and I guess for the first time, I saw him as something more than a friend. I pointed him out to an acquaintance and said, “That’s the man I’m going to marry”. From there, it was just a matter of time before I could ask him why, after all this time, he’d never asked me out. Minutes later, we’d made a date for the very next night and have been inseparable since. Two years later, we were married; ironically, almost to the day! I’m proud to provide this Events & Adventures review and even more proud to call Hank my husband!
