If you are not comfortable cutting hair, feel you are not capable of cutting hair evenly and without leaving behind chop marks, don't have enough experience to be cutting long hair that takes years to grow back, or if you aren't 100% sure you should be hacking up someone's already thin hair with a pair of thinning shears, don't do it. Just don't. I have been violated and it will take years to overcome.
