We have just returned home from brunch today, now mind you we have been going to switch for years, one of our favorite places to eat, now we live in far north Phoenix and drive down for a good meal, not today! We arrived just after noon and there was a little it of a wait, but that is expected for good food, which was not the case. We ordered our favorite appetizer the Baked lobster and crab puffs, sad to say that they were very fishyand not up to par, we have had these many times in the past and are usualy amazing, but not this time. The mains were the Jalisco panini, the club and the breakfast sandwich off the brunch menu, Now the Jalisco came out and was what seemed to be cheep deli sliced chicken, and pre-packed avocado on the sandwich, despite the jalipanios it was very bland, the club came out not even what you would thing a club would be, it was just a grilled turkey sandwich. The breakfast sandwich looked good but on the other hand was quit the contrary. Now to the part that sparked this review. We were ther for my husbands, and friends birthday, we ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough, as a birthday desert, witch is usualy the crowning point on the meal, not today it was the the best part of the meal by far but was still not the norm.

Now I don't know if the kitchen was asleep or hung over but it was to total miss on the food. The wait saff was good and friendly but seemed to be out of sorts. Even to the fact we were brought food that was to be brought to the table next to us.

I am thinking it is time to start looking for a new brunch location, and will not be recommending this place to anyone. Now they say it is not about advertising but word of mouth, and I have a big mouth. Sad to say that Switch used to be a destination eatery, but at this point still open only on what the name Switch used to bring to mind as far as food and service, but as most restraunt's after being open for years start to only be a name with a distant memory of great food.

Sad after years, we are going to start looking for a new brunch location.

Fine Sunday Morning drinking spot !!. Did a Sunday Morning business brunch here and it was a great atmosphere, even if a little crowded. They were out of bloody marys so we had pitchers of screwdrivers and their breakfast burritos. It was much better than the last breakfast burrito I reviewed elsewhere.

Family or not...rainbows or not...it's worth a gander if your are in the neighborhood..

Best "Family" Restaurant. I frequent Switch very often and have several dishes that I would consider my favorite. Including Ibiza and Apricot sanchwhich. The salmon and chicken pasta are awesome. Desert menu needs a bit of an update,I would like to see more healthy and appetizing desserts and fruit. Drinks are some of the best. I love the red and blonde sangria which are 1.99 special on wednesday I believe. They also have drinks specials for the same price on each day of the week. Gay friendly atmophere and very chic.

Perfect! A+. I went for a cab ride to Switch 20 minutes before close, I was able to talk to 3 different staff & see how it looked all through the restaurant. I really enjoyed the lighting. The White Sangria is so Delicious!! With Fresh Fruit ( Strawberries& Blueberries) so yummy!! I ordered the pasta with shrimp, TO GO :(

but they put chicken. No prob? I guess!!?!?

Every one was tired, but they were all very kind, clean & neat in all black.

My food was ready about midnight:

Amsterdam Pasta 16.95

Blond Sangria 1. 99 Wends. Special!

Total 20.51

I left Aaron a $5 cash tip & paid with my Credit Card . . . They are such dolls for doing overtime :)

I would host a party at this restaurant for sure! It is VERY " f a m i l y " friendly & even serve PRYED Vodka :)

I am really looking forward to returning with my mother& her partner of 10 years, to try the MAC&Cheese with Crab&Shrimp with some Lobster Creeps . . . . maybe some Lamb Medallions too! This place is a 10, go there for a nice dinner with friends then head to a local club.

What a great experience!. Switch was our first stop last Friday night. The attractive male host seated us promptly on the comfortable patio and within two minutes our friendly server arrived to take our drink order. All the patrons seemed to be happy and the restaurant had a good vibe. Our server was attentive the whole time and was very polite & professional, welcoming us when he discovered it was our first visit. The atmosphere is clean, chic, urban, and trendy in a classic sense. It was very clean and the space looked to be very well-cared for. Try the red sangria and sunset margarita when you go - happy hour is awesome. We did not eat, but the appetizers and entrees looked delicious and plentiful. We will definitely patronize this establishment again, and will recommend it to all our friends.

so many deals. We went here last night for a late valentines day dinner. the place was nicely decorated for either a casual (most people at 9 on a Sunday were pretty causal) or nice. The food was creative. the drink deals were great and I wasn't used to having happy hour type specials on a Sunday night. When we are back in Phoenix we will definitely go here again.

Fabulous Experience. I along with several business associates were in town for a convention. This restaurant was located just across the street from our hotel. We stopped in the first night out of convenience and ended up going back several times. The food was absolutely superb. All the items were fresh and absolutely delicious. We had everything from lunch to a full dinner to late night snacks. The service was impeccable, the prices reasonable and we left just wishing we had a place like this close to our home. If you are in Phoenix...don't miss this treat.!!

Fabulous patio. I'm all about the atmosphere, and I was so impressed with Switch. There is a long bar-height table down the middle like at the one at Deluxe, lots of lounge-y seating in the bar, but the patio was the nicest for happy-houring. It is an East-facing, long narrow space lined with sofas on each side. We had the cheese plate and the Mediterranean dip sampler. Both were served promptly, they weren't skimpy on portions, and were delicious. Service was very friendly and efficient. I plan to go back soon and give it a try for lunch.

Excellent Dining Expierance. I have eaten at Switch many times and tried numerous items on the menu and have not been dissappointed in any of the food items. I highly recommend the Sangria Salad (ordered with Chicken); this is my favorite dish and have gotten it to-go many times. I live all the way out in Pinal County and make time at least once a month to drive into Phoenix to eat at Switch.
