Peace of mind.
After getting locked out of my house yesterday, I was desperate to get a locksmith. I had one call to 411, asked for a locksmith and
unfortunatley I got 24/7 Locksmith. They had me over a barrel and completely gouged me. In addition, they had my master key for a short time, out of my sight, in their truck.
I called Acme the next day to come out and re-key the entire house, which they did for less than 24/7 charged me for a simple lock out.
I will be reporting 24/7 to the BBB and the AG's office while recommending Acme highly! Matt was terrific!
All you need to do is look at Acme's website. Do not waste your time with anyone else - call Acme first!

Service Doesn't Get Better Than This.
I had a simple job (re-keying my home) that needed to be done. After calling one local locksmith and waiting 24 hours (and counting)
without a return call, I found Acme Locksmith. I dialed once and spoke to an actual person who sounded professional, scheduled the appointment with just a two-hour time window and I hung up feeling confident in my choice. On the day of the appointment Matt called me, well in advance of the appointment time and then showed up right on time. Matt was informative, professional and courteous. He pointed out some general security issues that made him not one dime but made me a permanent customer and raving fan. Pricing was extremely fair and the whole experience restored my faith in skilled craftsmen.
I own a national company with an A+, BBB rating and I would recommend Acme Locksmith and Matt to anyone in the market for locks and security.

HE LISTENED TO THE CUSTOMER.
When Alex showed up I told him that the front door dead bolt still functioned, but I had pulled the lock apart and a piece of flat spring
steel was laying loose under the lock mechanism. And I found the dead bolt turned with no resistance instead of "snapping or clicking solidly into place like other dead bolts.
"It works OK", said Alex when he checked it. "Yes, It does seem to work" said I, then I told Alex about the loose piece of spring-steel and my concern with the feel of the lock.
At this point other repairmen might have minimized my concern and talked my out of looking further. After all...the lock still worked. But Alex LISTENED TO HIS CUSTOMER and made my happy by going to work on the lock.
It turned out that the spring steel piece had broken from it's position in the lock, changing the way the lock worked. But a search revealed there was no replacement piece in the used-parts bin of the locksmiths van.
What did Alex do? Thinking out of the box, he sacrificed a lock pick from his set of tools, CUTTING THE LOCK PICK TO SIZE and inserting it into the deadbolt mechanism.
Alex put the lock back together, asked me if I was satisified with the repair, wrote a fair bill for the work, and with my thanks, continued to his next job.
I really appreciated the thoughtfullness that Alex put into making this customer happy. I didn't have to convince him to do the job he did (in fact, I was pretty quiet about it). I was surprised that he "tuned in" so well.
Alex did 2 things well...how he did the job and....how he "tuned" to the customer. Nice job. Thanks, Alex.
