I recently moved my mom from a home in which she had lived for 23 years. It was super stressful prior to the move but the actual move went very well. The movers arrived behind schedule but added a fourth guy and finished three hours earlier than I expected. The guys worked their butts off and didn't take a break. They handled my mom's furniture and possessions with great care and were very professional. The crew leader was very organized and did an inventory of my mom's stuff, which I have never had a mover do. The final cost was just what I had calculated-no hidden charges. I will be moving my mom again in a few months and plan to use Starving Students (and the same crew) again.

Worst Moving Experience Ever. These guys were absolutely pathetic, and then afterwards they treated me like I was a convict. They gouged my walnut flooring and I watched the guy drag the chair across it. I ran to stop him but it was too late. So I took pics and they wouldn't accept blame. They broke a ceiling fan, a large handmade pottery piece and damaged my custom made chandelier. They also scratched some very nice stereo cabinets. I took out the best insurance they have, made the claim and took pictures. I turned it into a powerpoint and got quotes on replacement/repair cost. They refused to acknowledge any blame. I had an attorney contact them and filed a complaint with the BBB. They refuted it and ignored me. I cannot believe they treat people this way. My advice, steer way clear of this sham company.

Some issues - but they pulled it together and delivered. I booked a move for our mother and everything was set until two days before the scheduled pick up when I was called and informed the move was "unserviceable". I had to really raise an issue over this or we would have been stuck with an elderly woman in an apartment with limited income and no furniture or bed until we made new arrangements. I complained and they got the pick up back on schedule. I didn't like the last minute dumping and the effort it took to get delivery back on track - but to their credit they did schedule the pick up on time.

affordable movers. I looked for two days for affordable movers. You guys were by far the best priced company out there! The movers were the most professional & FASTEST movers we've ever had. We will definitely be using you guys again!

very professional. They were very professional and got the job done very well. We had a LOT of heavy stuff and they were very competent in moving it all - the truck was packed so amazingly well - it was like a work of art!

very careful. They did a great job of wrapping everything with shrinkwrap and they were very careful. I was really happy with the job they did.

I would use Starving Students again. The men were on time, efficient with the use of their time and careful with the contents to be moved. I would use Starving Students again if I needed help moving.

MOVED VERY QUICKLY. GREAT JOB - EVERYTIME WE HAVE USED STARVING STUDENTS THINGS HAVE MOVED VERY QUICKLY AND WITH NO PROBLEMS
