Glendale >UNCLE Charlies American Grill
THE BEST SPORTS BAR AND GRILL IN GLENDALE..
I DISAGREE WITH THE DJ, THIS PLACE HAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONEe, The food is AWSOME! i HAVE BEEN GOING TO UNCLE CHARLIES FOR 3 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH THE SERVICE. THIS PLACE IS WAY FUN FOR EVERYONE. THEY HAVE 8 POOL TABLES,DART BOARDS, LOTS OF VIDEO GAMES FOR KIDS, LOTS OF TVS I THINK THERE ARE LIKE 50 OR 60 TV'S AND A TV AT EVERY BOOTH. THE PLACE IS ALWAYS VERY CLEAN.
THEY HAVE A GREAT BAR ALSO IF YOU HAVE A PARTY THEY HAVE A GREAT AREA FOR THAT. THE BAR SITS OFF AWAY FROM THE DINING AREA SO YOU CAN ENJOY EATING WITH YOUR FAMILIES. EVERYONE MUST GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY. I LOVE GOING THERE.
Bad Service, Bad Food, Bad Business Practices Review.
Here is Part 1
I would not recommend this place to eat, drink or work. I am not writing this with anger, just wanting everyone to know the bad service they provide. I was hired to DJ and help revamp this place by their Manager. He contacted me for business and we had an agreement for all payments for services provided. The night I got there everything changed. First the manager quit that day and I was still ready to perform. First the conditions, I was to be paid $250 for 4 hours of work and also they offered me $50 more because I made promotional flyers and went out and passed for them. This was approved by the manager who spoke with the Owners and called me back giving me the okay. We were supposed to have everything on a tab. The dinner and drinks were to be taken off the tab after the night and I was to be paid the balance. NOW THE FOOD REVIEW, we ordered the fish dinner and also a philly cheesesteak. First we didnt get our waters til 15 minutes and finally got to order. She was rude and we gave our order which took another 20 mins. The fish smelt really bad and the cheesesteak was really greasy and soaked all the bread. Then she wanted to cash out and I informed her I was the DJ and it was on our tab per the Manager. Which I ended up clearing with the new Manager giving me the okay. She got upset and threw our check at us and mumbled something and walked away mad. We never got our second round drinks.
Bad Service, Bad Food, Bad Business Practices.
NOW THE BUSINESS REVIEW, proper business practices which I think are if you hire someone or the management gets the okay from owners to hire and we make a deal. The deal should stand no matter what happens in the background meaning employee changes if someone quits or gets fired. Prior I went over the contract with the manager and explained the fees and cancellation policy and payment arrangements. So I get there and find out the manager no longer works there and the new manager who I met said he would honor the deal and we went over the arrangments. About an hour into the gig, some older man who didnt introduce himself said the deal is off and is only going to pay half of the original deal and that is final. So i closed my tab and told the manager if we cut half the money i am doing to cut half the DJ time. Not even half the way in it, some other guys pays not even a quarter of the originally hired amount and says to cut the music were done. So i count the money and not even a quarter of it. So i played one last song and closed up and said my goodbyes. I made a realistic announcement and thanked everyone for coming and let the crowd know why i was leaving since they kept coming and asking. I plan to take legal action to collect the balance from the original deal per my contract states.
