RUDE IF YOU ANSWER + MULTIPLE DAILY CALLS THAT NEVER STOP!.
I'm going to start answering every time they call and let them talk as long as they can, before I just hangup. This way perhaps they will finally take me off their call list.
Obnoxious and vile people.
Its 109 degrees and I have NO AC... Thanks ABODE. Please save your self time, energy, and money and stay away from ABODE. We had them come out to look at our AC unit because we had a service plan that allowed free maintenance check ups. AFTER spending $600 they tell us we need a new AC unit. The "repairs" they did, did nothing, and now we have no AC. They refuse to give us our money back. They did absolutely nothing, and charged us for everything!
I'd rather go without A/C than give this company $1. Don't give these people any of your information - they will telemarket you 9am EVERY SINGLE DAY, apparently forever.
STOP CALLING EVERY DAY - I SAID NO. First the one star is only due to a requirement by this website. I would give them negative one hundred. ABODE AIR first called about eight months ago. I told their phone rep that I was not interested, and already had a company (Angel Air Cooling and Heating (That's the owner's name)) that we trusted and would recommend, and that we are on the "Do Not Call Registry). He got pushy. I said again, "not interested," and hung up. The next day they called again, and the next, and the next. I told him that, if only due to that, they would be the LAST company we would EVER choose to do business with (pardon the dangling participle). Still they call, every day, even today...and they have started calling my second line (business only), as well. It's a waste of my time, an irritant (waking me), and their money for the telemarketers. Theirs is one of the worst business models I have ever seen. I, personally, don't know why they haven't gone under. They must have an extremely high profit margin from the SUCKERS that they manage to catch.
SERIOUSLY, STOP CALLING ME!!.
Abode Air has somehow purchased a phone list with my name on it, and WILL NOT STOP CALLING ME.
Subsequent calls to their main line suggests that there's a "Mr. Bier" or "Bear" (the employees don't even know, apparently) who "will handle it", but then I get another call a few days later.
If you're considering your AC business needs, DO NOT CALL THESE ASSJACKETS.
Whoever is in charge over there has no clue on how to handle or run a business without completely pissing off customers.

I've found the Owner's name and number (aka "The Appliance Emergency Line" (you know, where they might miss a call and money if they don't answer), if you find yourself similarly situated. Give Ron a call and let him know how you feel. 480-510-4032.

* BBB Accreditation was revoked because the business failed to honor its accreditation agreement with BBB.
Abode is rated "F" by BBB
Abode has repeatedly been investigated by TV . practices harassing phone calls to people despite "no call list". Don't let them near your house or have them touch your unit. They remove parts and create repairs.
Check them out on the internet!!!!
TERRIBLE CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH. They don't even deserve a star! They called to do a check-up and I needed on to keep my warranty valid. He comes in with a part and says it bad. Try's to sell me a service contact. He will replace the part for 145. He also wanted to clean my coils for 300. He said they were covered with dirt that looked like a fine carpet. I surprised him and climbed up on the roof. There were no coils it was a radiator type. Then I said," replace my part and I am not getting anything done". Now it doesn't work at all. I called another company and can't get an appointment till Monday. Now with the HOT temp raising to 115 i'm now without air.
WATCH OUT CON MAN!. TERRIBLE! I knew I should of checked these guys out first... then after they ripped me off I checked and found 65 complaints at the better business beurau and 10 complaints with the registrar of contractors ... lousy service overpriced and didnt even fix my problem! STAY CLEAR!
High Pressure Sales. I was on vacation in San Francisco and on a trolley car when I got a call on my cell phone from a marketer pitching a 50% off on maintenance. I told him I was not interested. I was on vacation etc. He would not take no for an answer. I know I should just have hung up on him. I finally scheduled an appointment. When I got home, my husband who was not on vacation with me, told me we already had this service done back in March. My husband called to cancel and he was baraged with calls from the marketer and his supervisor to schedule us for this service next month. Even after cancelling, we got calls from the marketer and the tech informing us of the time they would be out. They told us that APS & SRP recommend maintenance on the air be done every 6 months. I called APS and they DO NOT recommend this. They recommend it be done right before summer on a yearly basis. What part of "NO" do they not understand!!!!
ABODE AIR RIP OFF ARTISTS.
This company should be investigated! They prey on people, using unethical practices! They suckered me into a 10 year contract, for $1400, then came out and charged me $408 for a part, that cost about$8 ! (AND STILL DIDN'T FIX MY PROBLEM!
THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF SHEISTERS!
They got me, along with a bunch of other Seniors, in my area! They have 38 compaints against them! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
