Chen's is great the food is good and service always friendly. We have been going since they opened and have always had good food and service. If you know what kind of food you like and want something taken out they will make accommodation. I don't eat rice and they are always willing to give me vegies.

Best Chinese in San Tan Valley Area. I have lived in this area for 3 years and seen many places come and go, but Chens has always been there and always consistent. Anything on the menu is great. I suggest the teriaki

Decent. Chen's is a decent little takeout/delivery joint if you are tired of all the pizza shops in the Johnson Ranch area.

Quality is average, like any other smaller chinese takeout restraunt. Portion size and prices are pretty good.

Terrible food!. doesn't even deserve one star!!! Absolutely terrible!

We ordered:

** beef n broc--beef had no flavor, like cardboard;

** kung pao chix--very small pcs of chix, green peppers, really? The level of spiciness was good, medium to spicy.

** beef kabobs were deep fried in same oil as shrimp so they smelled AND tasted more like deep fried shimp.

** combo lo mein--mushy, over-boiled noodles.

I would never order from here again. Anyone who likes this food has no clue what good chinese food is like.

BEST chicken & shrimp fried rice!. They have the BEST chicken & shrimp fried rice combo I have ever tried. The portion sizes are fair, the environment is clean and the service is courteous & prompt.

OK if you want some quick Chinese food - good fast customer service. It's OK. Their sesame chicken is wierd, but their rice is pretty good. Iron Chef on Power Road is way better though.

ho-hum. Stopped in to Chen's one day after work for take-out. Ordered the chicken with snowpeas. I thought it was very very bland (and I am not a fan of spicy or seasoned foods). Prices were just OK. In this small area, there are quite a few restaurants and this is at the bottom of my list. Not impressed.

Great Neighborhood family-owned chinese restaurant. Awesome Hot&Sour Soup!. My daughters love the lo-mein chicken... we call it "Chinese Noodle Night" when we do the take out! Its awesome food, and I like the Hot & Sour soup... it has a great mixture of beef, shrimp, and bar-b-q pork strips as well!! You know its homemade, because some days it has more *ZIP* than other days. Which is the way it is with a lot of my cooking. Great People, and great food. The in-dining area is good as well, four booths for families and four more dining tables. Not a huge restaurant, but most of their business is take out!
