Amazing Pizza.
I just recently went out to eat with my family. We went to BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse on Power Rd and Superstition Springs Blvd. This is one of my favorite places to eat. On the inside of the
restaurant, it is very spacious and is decorated with an industrial theme. The walls are covered in red bricks and in the center of the back wall; there is a large painting of men forging steel beams. Four stainless steel and glass garage doors separate one third of the restaurant from the rest. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. In addition to a wide selection of entrees, they also brew their own line of beer in-house.
We were seated in a booth near the bar as soon as we walked in. The service that night could have been better. My only complaint was that our drinks were empty for most of the meal: which was weird because it was a Tuesday night at 7:00 pm and the restaurant was only ¾ full. However, it was the first time that I had witnessed subpar service; it is usually amazing.
For an appetizer, we ordered one seared Ahi tuna and for the main dish, we ordered their Chicago-style deep-dish buffalo chicken pizza. When the appetizer arrived, we were all amazed anon how small it was. Its flavor was good but it was too small even for appetizer. Lucky for us BJ’s Chicago-style deep-dish buffalo chicken pizza was not far behind.
What makes this pizza so unique is the crust: it is almost a full inch thick while remaining light and airy. It is topped with buffalo sauce, cheese, onions, grilled chicken, ranch dressing, and celery, as well as other seasonings and spices. The pizza was so fresh and the taste was not like any pizza I have ever had.
We topped the night off with a cookie ice cream dessert called a “pizookie”. I have eaten at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse many times and I highly recommend it if you have never been there.…
Great Food & Great Atmosphere!. My husband and I have dinner here frequently with friends, and each time we do, we are greeted by very young hostesses with big attitudes. They are always sour faces, never smiling. The servers can be quite slow, and aren't usually very friendly. It's a shame too, because we love the atmosphere at Bj's, and the food is very tasty. They need a makeover or something with some of the staff, and it would be much more inviting, to where we'd probably visit more often.…
