Udupi is probably my favorite restaurant in the country! It is always supremely delicious. I recommend going for dinner rather than lunch buffet. If you enjoy spice, the vegetable manchurian is
out of this world! I also love the paneer and batura.
Whenever we have guests in from out of town, we take them to Udupi. Everyone should experience their amazing food! They also have the best Mango Lassi!

Great vegan southern Indian fare. Dosai are must-try! Before I found out I was lactose-intolerant, I tried the paneer dosa... delish! Now I just choose among the vegan selections and have yet to find something I do not like. The stuffed eggplant in red curry sauce is very spicy and delectable! Do try their soups--hot and sour and mulligatawny are excellent! Although I try to avoid fried dishes, I did try their samosas... to die for! Not greasy at all. I'd stay away from the iddly, however. Did not care for it. The manager (sorry, never got his name, but he's always there) is very accomodating with my questions and requests. Staff members are easy to talk to.…
