Pleasently Surprised.
I pass Amano's everyday on my way to work and on my step daughters birthday she wanted pizza, it was a saturday so we wanted to avoid the peter pippers and such so we gave Amano's a try. Now when we walked in I was immediatly charmed by the place. It is tiny but so gorgeous. I beg to worry when I looked at the menu then looked at my newly six year old daughter, it was her birthday and I didn't think she'd touch any of the food, if your a parent or have spent any time with young kids you understand my concern. However after removing the tomato from her margarhita pizza ( i think that is what it was called) she dug in and only left a slice left over. I love this place it is my new favorite and I am taking my grandfather there this weekend for his birthday. The prices seem a little steep until you get your food and realize you have enough for lunch the next day if you get one of the pizzas that isn't the case but their pasta is mouth watering. Wonderful plafe service and food. The staff was soo sweet to my little girl she actually wants to go back!!!

Romantic Italian Dinner & Wine.
Lovely place..obviously family run with very tasty food made with fresh ingredients and imagination. Superb wine list, truly friendly staff, nicely lit, romantic ambience - all in an attractive brick building. Reasonable prices for the quality...we spent 45.00 for a shared starter, 2 dinners and 2 glasses of good chianti. Too full to try the deserts, but will make room next time..heard some ooohing and aaahing from the next table.
