My favorite restaurant in Phoenix. My favorite restaurant in Phoenix. I love Blue Willo Cafe. The food is very good. The waitress helped me in deciding what to get because it all looked so good. I especially like their Club. It is a crisp fulfilling sandwich served toasted.

They have many different flavors to choose from. Overall, food, service, and setting excel. I will go eat again for lunch.

Did the light rain opening at the Blue Willo Cafe today 12-27-08. Ok, Just did the light Rail opening today at Blue Willo Cafe! It was great!!! I had a BBQ Chicken Sandwich that was to die for. My friend had a Hummas Sandwich and it was also great! The prices were so good and the size of the food was so big that I had to take some home in a doggy bag.

I spoke with the owner and she told me that she was in the process of swiching the menu and they were going to offer dinner on Friday nights! I live in the area and will be back!!! I go to a lot of spots in the area and this is by far the best sandwich joint in the area!!!! If you are around I really recommend it.

Ain't Got No Satisfaction. We ordered four different sandwiches for take-out lunch and all were a disappointment. The Hummus Pita pocket was very small and it was only spread with hummus, as if it were mayo. The only filling was a little lettuce, some chopped tomatoes and feta cheese. The 9-grain bread surrounding a very basic egg salad sandwich was stale and tasted like it sat in the fridge too long. The BLT was more like LT with a slice of B...who builds a BLT with one slice of B? The Club, supposedly the "best seller" was nothing special either, again fell short in the bacon and the turkey department. It wasn't Boar's Head or even Private Selection. If this review sounds boring, it is...just like eating from Blue Willow...this food will NOT get you any satisfaction!
