I highly recommend Addy's Bridal. I dropped in for a consultation 1 year ago, and when the time came to buy, sought them out again.

I visited Addy's Bridal 1 year ago to talk about what kind of dresses I should buy for my body type. Even though I did not have an appointment, they talked to me for 20-30 min. and showed me some styles to try in the future, as well as recommended which designers they had that were closer to my price range. They were the only place I went to that gave me the time of day since I did not have a wedding date set at that time. 1 year later, I made an appointment to try on dresses at Addy's. They actually took the time to fit the dresses properly and made suggestions and gave honest opinions when asked. Addy came out a couple of times when we found a dress I really liked. I liked Addy's frankness, which I attribute to a different cultural upbringing, which I find refreshing. Unlike other bridal stores where dresses keep piling up and sales associates are afraid to make anything but unclear, obscure, and tentative statements, Addy's Bridal really helps narrow down the choices, so I walked out of there with 2 dresses that were my "love its". I am going back next week to finalize my choice.

By the way, I am not a thin girl, but they managed to suit me up in dresses that were 2 times smaller than my regular size, so I could get a really good idea of what the dress would look like on me. (Though this does not work for well for form fitting dresses.)

Shame on you Addy. My daughter and I took her wedding dress to Addy to get hemmed and altered for her upcoming wedding and it was not a pleasant experience. On two seperate occasions Addy remarked that my daughter "had put on weight" (which actually she had lost weight)...not the thing a bride wants to hear while having her gown fitted. The original work that we had requested was not done properly which caused an unecessary trip and additional fitting which we had to fit into our already hectic schedule. The workmanship was sub-par and had to be redone. Our guess is that she has more work than she can handle and therefore is not giving each bride and gown the attention they deserve. I would not recommend Addy to someone looking for a seamstress, sorry.

Great Experience. I currently visited Abby's and Robert & Adelina was great. They both made me feel at home. I was able to have the whole store to myself and try on as many dresses as I wanted to. WOW what a great experience. I did find two dresses I really liked. I'm making a list of all the likes and will go back to the shops to try them on again with my bridesmaids. Thank you for making my visit enjoyable.
