It's alright if you like tex mex.. I have been there a few times and have tried several of their menu items. I am not too fond of much of their food it is just to tex mex for me and very gourmet. Guess I am just a mexican at heart and prefer simple and not overworked. One particular item I did not like was the rolled chicken tacos. I would expect to receive flautas but I received a chicken tender with a sliver of chicken wrapped in a flour tortilla, (a chicken tender burrito wrap. ) WTF! I complained that it was not what I thought I ordered and was told that I misunderstood the menu. For some odd reason I went back and tried their blue cheese enchiladas. They were wonderful. So overall I gave them a good rating, but watch out and pay attention to what you order.

Ticoz Hip Latin Neighborhood Bar with too much attitude.. We have been to Ticoz a few times for tapas and half price Margaritas a happy hour. We have usually had a good time, a couple of drinks and some great food. The other night however we decided to order their signature special chicken enchiladas. Now mind you, they have fairly reasonable prices on the menu so you can imagine the shock when the check came back at $18.95 for a chicken enchilada, rice, and a vegetable. It was good, but not that good and it gave me indigestion all night -not sure from the price or the sipces. Never go back there again.

Fantastic Hideaway in downtown Phoenix. I have been to Ticoz a few times, and have never been disappoointed! The variety of drink specials are excellent. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the menu is unbelievable. I would highly recommend going to Ticoz!

Ticoz Rawks!. I seriously crave the fish tacos, calamari, tostadillos (out of this world!!!) and of course the amazing mojitos. I love the vibe and energy of Ticoz. It's a pretty big place with a lovely patio, a smokin' hot bar, large dining room and a private room in back. How cool is that? I've always had the friendliest servers who have great knowledge and suggestions on the menu. Oh my gosh and you must try the coconut curry rice....SO GOOD!
