My First Negative Experience With Islam. I have been trying to find a place to get good clothing for Mosque for a while and heard that this was the only place in town to find anything. I just got out of the hospital and was going to enjoy finding something I could wear to Mosque tomorrow (or next week if I felt up to it). The employees made a point to quit speaking English the moment we got out, gave me dirty looks whenever I'd whince (from pain of trying to move) and we could hear them making comments under their breath about white people. We were the only white people there. It was a horrible representation of how Muslims should behave and the owners should be embarrassed at having these people represent them. I will be making sure to discuss this with my Imam and discourage anyone I can from going there. The Islamic faith does not need this sort of misrepresentation.…
