Totally horrible experience...uncaring, oblivious waitstaff. My partner and I had heard great things about the place. The space itself is pretty cool; very urban, chic, and trendy. Granted, it was Friday night and we expected it to be busy...but having to wait 20 minutes at the bar while three bartenders and what looked to be a manager flirted with each other was unacceptable. We attempted to get a table in the bar area, only to be rudely told by a staff member that it was reserved. The table remained empty for exactly two miliseconds when other standing patrons quickly grabbed it, and did not get the same scolding "it's reserved" comment. We then stepped away from the bar area and sat down on the makeshift seating next to the leather couch. Twice, the manager-esque looking fellow tried to take my half-full cosmo. We thought sitting outside might be nice, so I asked the 'host' for a table on the patio. He advised that half the patio had just opened up, and he would come get us in a moment. Forty minutes later, eight parties had been escorted to the patio for seating ahead of us. When the 'host' finally approached and asked if we were ready for our table, we told him we wouldn't be staying. Completely unconcerned by our looks of disgust, he said, "ok", and pranced back to the front door. As we were finishing our drinks, a group of seven guys came in and took over the leather sectional. Within 5 minutes, they all had drinks and 2 managers had been by to schmooze them. It's too bad the same courtesy isn't extended to all of Fez's patrons. Don't waste your time here...drive the extra 4 blocks to Switch.

good people, good food!!. I recommend this place, Chic with good people and good food, I love the lettuce wraps with dates!!.. so great!!!

They are open till late, and they are serving after 9.00 pm... there are not too many choices at that time in Phoenix. On Sundays the bottles of wine have a 50% of discount!!!... and they have a brunch now.

There are some special coffees and teas a little over prized, although they are good!!

Jekyll-Hyde Experience. I ate at Fez two nights in a row, and it was like a Jekyll-Hyde experience. The first night I went with my husband and it was nice, food was good, service was good. The second night I went with a friend and it was extremely busy. As it got busier, the service got exponentially worse. My friend and I had to flag down a different waiter three times for drinks and the bill. My first drink, a "Patron-tini" at $10.50, was perfect. The second was totally off, so I returned it to the bar, as I could not find our server. The bartender questioned my comment, but made another, out of my sight, and it too was not right. I know my Patron tequila, and either the drink was watered down or another tequila was used. I could not find a manager to complain to either......not a good experience. I will not return.

Fantastic martinti menu. Well I tell ya....I've had a few martiniis (I mean tonight) and it's been a long time since I've seen such a great selection of martinis on the menu. Yes, they can be on the higher end but worth it. The martini glasses are exactly what they should be, the drinks are very creative as well as the food. The atemosphere and the service were wonderful. 2nd ttrip here from quite a way out of the norm but I'll be back next Monday for their 3 yr. bday. Great place...really.

Over-rated mediocre food and service. Been there several times. The atmosphere is cool but thats about all it has going for it. The staff is a bunch of rude queens which have no business in the service industry. Good luck getting silverware or heaven forbid a refill on your drink. The food is ok, not great and not horrible.

Arguably one of the greatest spots to eat in Arizona.. This quaint little place is by far one the nicest places I've ever eaten. Not only is it visually attractive, but their food is also to die for. Whether you're looking for a tasty salad, a mouthwatering burger, or those sweet cinnamon fries, this is the spot to find it! The typical all-American food mixed with some quirky edginess makes this restaurant and it's food one-of-a-kind.

Just great food!. Not a bad thing on the menu as far as I can tell....We have been several times at lunch and have used it for larger meetings in the evening.

I love the fish dishes - talapia out of this world.

My personal fave is the berry salad and the hummus!!!! Sweet potatoe fries are YUMMY!!

A little pricey for every day but its a nice treat every now and then.

Best Gourmet Burgers in Phoenix. Places like Fez give me hope that one day Phoenix will be a happening city. It's trendy in a good way and the food is delicious. It can be crowded, but worth the wait. I have never had to wait real long anyway. The Tangier burger is the best burger I have ever had - hummus, pesto, manchego cheese and the meat is so tasty! Warning - you will have garlic breath after eating this. It also comes w/ a salad on the side (how nice is that?) with a lemon dressing that I just love. They also have a standard American burger for all you food wimps.

Cool Place, Good Eats, Great Price. When someone says hey you want to do lunch, The first thing I suggest is a trendy resturant named Fez. Their menu mixes it up if you want to feed a conservative eater there is alway the mouth watering Fez burger however on the other hand if you want something different try the Lamb Kisra, this dish is enough to feed two reasonably sized adults mix in a couple of margaritas' and a brownie a la mode and you have a great lunch for two. With the lamb, the drinks and dessert lunch for two is about $33.00 spilt it down the middle and you have great lunch for under $17.00 a person.
