Horrible DJ Just Avoid.
The DJ only plays 30 seconds of every song.
He pretends like he's mixing them together and he's doing something. If you request anything he never plays it because he would have to stop his ipod from playing to find the song you want to hear, and would have to pay for the song to be heard.
I think they just don't want to pay the royalties to the record companies. So forget about dancing to songs you like any more here. This DJ has been there for 3 years now and I think he's too cheap for them to get rid of him.
This place use to be a little nice with a great crowd but I have a feeling new management took over to watch their profits. This club is on it’s death spiral.

Good Lord. The person that wrote the review before me is damn near illiterate. If you can make sense of it...let me know! Could someone else be more specific so I'll actually know if this place is good?

A good dance club, just not a great one. Nobody goes here in more, it's too crowded. Now that I got that out of my system, I will say that DM is a decent dance club in Scottsdale and is just a little friendlier and less pretentious than most to not be called a Snottsdale club. It plays a good mixture of old school, house and whatever's current. Staff and drinks are sufficient. Definitely, and and do mean definitely, a meet/meat market but worth checking out if you like to boogie..

white girls central. it was real clean and nice, the people were nice enough, and the drinks were good. however, if you like your clubs to have some booty in it and really want to shake your a** then you are in the wrong place. it's evident that being in scottsdale that there would be alot of white girls there, but my friend and i felt we were a few shades too dark and a few pounds too heavy to be in there! just a warning!
