Tacos and burritos are custom-made with fresh ingredients at this industrial-chic Mexican chain..
In Short
Boasting a sleek decor of blond wood, raw steel and exposed pipes, this taqueria hums with conversation and an eclectic mix of piped-in salsa, rock and reggae. Patrons--mostly on-the-go professionals and parents with kids in tow--line up at an assembly-line style counter for hard and soft tacos or burritos (regular, fajita-style or without the tortilla) made with fillings like grilled chicken or steak, free-range pork or shredded beef.

Good food, mediocre service, ambiance is a bit cold and unwelcoming.
Okay - the concept is interesting, the offerings familiar (see also Moe's Mexican Grill). The menu is cryptic - I'm sure the idea is for it to be part of the "no additives" concept, but we do need a little more information. The "service" was a bit spotty - the staff need some customer service training to thrive in an area so densely populated with possible culinary experiences. If you are hungry and want something to eat - not a bad place to go. If you want service and a dining "experience" you may want to keep rolling. My advice to the owners: go to a Moe's and see what they're doing that you aren't. Basically it's just part of making the customer feel like they are the reason why you are there - not that we are a blip in an otherwise quiet backdrop. We were uncomfortable - and won't be back even though we did like the food.
