Crowded and Loud. We decided to try this place after all the hype. Had to walk through a swarm of young people posing for one another just to get to the host stand! Once inside more of the same...I dont think they know if they want to be a restaurant or a nightclub! The food was ok...a bit over priced for the portions. My pizza was dry and flavorless... Wouldn't go back for dinner. More of a young persons (20 something) scene. Maybe lunch on their huge patio overlooking the Scottsdale central park would be nicer.
Daddy's Money. If you like soso food and enjoy lots of 2o somethings that show of their parents money this is the place! Attitude for days in there! Pasta was good though the pizza tasted like something from a box.. the broccoli rabe was like eating straw.. the worst Ive ever had! The desserts.. those were ok as well.
Even the Hollywood celebs who hang out here can't steal the spotlight from the pastas..
In Short
It's only fitting that Scottsdale's hippest new boutique hotel would bring in one of SoHo's hottest eateries. New York Times 3-star chef Michael White's Arizona outpost boasts an oh-so-contemporary minimalist decor in which to see and be seen while supping on made-from-scratch pastas, innovative appetizers and entrees. Valley veteran Patrick Fegan oversees the kitchen. A young, dressed-in-black waitstaff adds to the energy. The patio is party central.
