Pizza >Salerno's Pizza Restaurant
Excellent Italian food!. The best Chicago style pizza around. The decor is plane although they are having a band and a full house on Sat night. Waiters are local help but the food is worth waiting for. Casual dining. Tah, tah diners stay away! And,yes, most of the food is made from scratch, all except the cart which is not suppose to be eaten! Brooka stay home.
Disgusting!!!!!. Disgusting!!!! 99% of these reviews are completely fake and must be employees of the restaurant giving reviews. This place was a joke. It seriously made Denny's & IHOP look like 5 star dining. The noodles were overcooked and soggy. The fettuccini sauce and spaghetti sauce tasted like it was straight from a can. I have had better cafeteria food. I totally felt like I was slumming it by eating dinner here. I would NEVER recommend this place. They brought the food out on a loud clanking mail cart. I am totally serious. It was embarrassing to watch waiters roll around this stupid cart. Nothing was fresh. The bread was definitely not homemade. They cut corners on all of the food. I could seriously cook a much better meal at home. I will never go back.
Salerno's just doesn't have it.. I am a food writer for a food magazine . I was led to Salernos on Citysearch as it said it had the best pizza in the Valley. I have reviewed Pomo Pizzeria in Scottsdale & Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix. This restaurant is far from either of those. The indegredients are not freshly made. I could tell most everything came out of a can. The salad & dressing was packaged and not made fresh. The pizza has much to be desired because the sauce was not made fresh. The prices are above that of most Italian restaurants that are well established. My overall grade D+. I would caution anyone who reads the other reviews to be wary of their validity as most everyone did not want to take their leftovers home. Any good restaurant has most everyone wanting to box up their food.
Don't Give This Man Your Good Money. The owner and operator of Salerno's is one of the most arrogant jerks I've ever met. We came into his restaurant to use a coupon that had been expired for a few days, and instead of honoring the coupon or giving us some kind of partial discount, he chose to not honor the coupon and tell us to leave the restaurant. You never know the kind of true colors an owner has until this type of situation, unfortunately, he is the worst - treating a paying customer like crap with unnecessary verbal assaults. He is exactly the type of person that should never receive your business.
Fresh,Homemade, who could ask for anything more?!. This little Mom and Pop restaurant is without a doubt the best Italian food in the valley....maybe in Arizona. The raviolis are oh so good and the pizza, words cannot describe how yummy. Don't believe the reviews? Try it you'll see for yourselves.
YO, Diz Place is Like, Awlrite. You hear me?.
Ehhhhhhhhhhhh, youz guyz. i started goin to Salernos in Berwyn since I wuz tree. Dis won iz jest az gud. Gotzta be da bess pizza in der valley. YO!
An da Buds er cheap. You hear wut I'm sayin?
Best Pizza in the Valley. No one will rave about the location or the decor but they will RAVE about the pizza. I am a Chicago transplant and am in heaven since I found Salerno?s pizza. They offer thick and thin and they are both delicious. They make their own Italian sausage and top their pies with lots of ingredients. I could eat pizza every day and this pizza is the best. The only negative I could even say is that they don?t offer delivery. So its dine in or carry out baby?.
