Great date spot. My husband and I recently moved to Arizona area and were a little concerned about the lack of unique places to eat. I found Tapino on Citysearch and it is everything that the other reviewers said. The service is exceptional, the food is even better. Be sure to try the dessert indulgence. This seems like a cool place to meet up with friends for a light dinner and drinks before going out as well.…
Love the food. Love the Wine. Love the Patio. I'm not quite sure what Docrock is upset about. Arn't ALL restaurants in Greater-Pheonix, in strip malls? If you call a bright red concrete deck, enveloped with billowy white curtains, soft red back-lighting, and comfy white love-seats "terribly morose", then be my guest. We eat / drink there at least once every six weeks, and frankly we love it! The Vino Lounge (what Tapino calls their patio) is just about as inviting (non morose) as any place I've been, outside of Miami, or Las Vegas. My lady loves the food, I love the wine, we love the place. Call me "Totally Satisfied", Highly recommended !!…
Not that nice. We were looking forward to a swanky wine bar. We were disappointed. There is outdoor seating, but on a terribly morose concrete floor. The wine is expensive, but at least the service was good. I should have known better walking up to a wine bar that's in a strip mall.…
A must for after dark or late night drinks. We just love ending up here on our nights out. Everytime we site in the outdoor lounge we talk about decorating our own patio in a similar way. Cozy, quiet, great for 2 or groups of friends. Awesome.…
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Wine bar and lounge inside Tapino restaurant offers a frequently changing menu of small plates and an extensive wine list.
