Wonderful Park.
This park is an absolute must visit if you are in the Phoenix area. The playground has a covering for the hot months, plus several spray posts and lots of sand to dig and play in. The second playground is a western village complete with a stagecoach the kids can clim around on. The train ride is a perfect 10 minutes long and they also have a carousel, tickets are only $1 each. They have 2 places to get food/ice cream treats and one of them has a train table the kids can play with. There is a model train shop and an actual train car you can take a tour of, and model trains are on display and on weekends they have a mini train running. This is one of the best parks around.

best family outing.
If you have train fans in your family, this is good place to spend 3-4 hours. There is also a good playground for kids who hate trains and lots of room to run around. Bring a picnic for the best family fun or you can buy some basic food boxes there. Clean bathrooms.
