Best Flapjacks in Town!.
Very casual, lots of locals, The pancakes are the greatest (next to Mom's of course)! It's down home cookin' with down home atmosphere. If you're looking for the Hilton - go to the Hilton.
If you're wanting a taste of the real Cave Creek and it's residents you have to hit Oak's!
Terrific food. Great casual relaxing place with outstanding pancakes made from scratch. MUST try the oven-baked apple pancake - a speciality you can't find anywhere else in this city!
Great place! Food was out of this world. I came to Cave Creek for the first time and randomly stopped in to this inviting-looking quaint eatery not expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. The food was just how I like it - homemade, fresh, delicious and big diner size portions! Service was fast and friendly, and they cooked everything to my specifications. The burgers were great and my wife's omelette was amazing we wanted to try everything on the menu and will definitely be going back! It's a far drive for us but worth it.
EXCELLENT. Outstanding food, warm & welcoming environment.. Excellent place, service was great, and we were very impressed with how much careful attention the manager gave to all her customers. Place has a very casual yet warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Perfect place to take your kids. I've been several times - love the omelettes and the apple pancakes which are famous! Weekends can be crazy and very busy / packed, but well worth the wait!
Save your time and money, eat elseware!!!!!. We were told to seat ourselves, service was poor, asked to have eggs cooked so that whites were cooked throughout and yolks were runny ---waitress replied "cooks are too busy for special requests" Food served , and had to wait for silverware 'cause they were being washed. Waitress then brought out silverware in a pile thrown on some napkins. (At least the silverware was clean) Pancakes were greasy, and didn't taste good. Bacon was cooked all the way,yet had a burned taste. My husband ordered an omelet which also didn't taste good. We spoke to the manager and she offered to split the bill and please give the restaurant a second try. That was my family's first and last time.
