My spouse and I had brunch at this
popular Scottsdale eatery. We were very quickly greeted and seated in the outside patio by a friendly hostess. The decor is faux Mexican coastal cantina and the
clientele appeared to be young professionals. during our visit.. Our very perky server, Rachael, quickly brought menus and offered
appetizers and beverages. We had draft Victoria and Pacifico beers, followed by an assemble it yourself omelet for my wife and a large steak burrito for myself. The burrito was accompanied by browned, cubed potatos and onion, the omelet by fresh fruit. The food was carefully prepared, in large portions and nicely presented. Music was eclectic, and a bit loud, but not really obtrusive, We split an order of sopapillas for dessert and still had to take three home, along with part of the omelet. The outside seating was comfortable, and canine friendly with a couple of the furry guys present. Traffic on Scottsdale Rd is very close, but their is enough setback to minimize it's bothersomeness. I would recommend this place for tourists and locals.
The place was full and everyone on the patio was contributing to a good vibe. The menu is apparently more limited during the week, so try Sunday brunch.…
I loved the Burgers. I've been to Salty Senorita three times. The first time it was with a bunch of co-workers that wanted to meet and have a few drinks. Although I don't drink, this review is based on the food that I had. The first time I had the nachos with beef. It was a huge plater and the ingredients were not skimpy by any means. The taste was excellent. The scond time I took a friend of mine visiting from out of town. I had the burger, and I fell in love. I ordered it plain with a side of Jalopenos. The Japlopenos were not what I thought. These were fresh Jalopenos. At first look I thought, Oh this is not going to tast like I was hoping. Boy was I wrong. My mouth was on fire and I couldn't feel my lips for a couple of hours, but it was a darn awsome burger. The beef looked of a higher caliber quality. Although I wouldn't say it was cheap for a burger, but I guess you get what you pay for. So now I'm addicted to the fresh Jalopenos. I need to suffer that awsome fire taste every few weeks. I can't wait till the next time after my mouth heals.…
Tasty food and Margaritas. I loved this place!! They have the best chips and salsa! They make the best Margarita with my favorite Cruz Tequila. mmmmm Cruz Tequila shots for the gals!!!
Arthropods everywhere!. This place is great. Location can not be beat. Margaritas must have been made by the Gods. Service and management help the experience. Only one problem, health and cleanliness.
watch your wallet!!!!!.
upon arriving, the server told me the fajita's were on special for $10.99. They gave us 3 choices, chicken, steak and shrimp. We picked the shrimp and when we got the bill they charged us $12.99.
they did not say shrimp would be extra. We had to ask for chips, they only give upon request. We needed an extra two tortillas for our fajita's and were charged $3.00 for a corn tortilla and $1.00 for a flour tortilla. We ordered a regular margarita and was given the special margarita at $8.99 a glass. We didn't know it was special until we got the bill. When I brought this up to the server she said that the economy has effected them too.
And by the way, the food was just mediocre. ****This was the Gilbert/Mesa restaurant on Stapely****…
