After reading several reviews on Streamers posted on the internet I felt that it should be addressed that there is absolutely NO insect problem. I have been going to Streamers more than once a month since 2005 and have never encountered one of these so-called "creatures" that the person below me is referring to. Tom and Michelle are very on top of their pest control and have kept the restaurant in excellent shape for the time that i have been visiting their restaurant. Another review stated that the owners would not allow their 12 year old child to use the bathroom because she was not purchasing anything on the weekend. If you saw how incredibly busy it gets on the weekend and the problems they have with the junior high crowd trying to take advantage of them by running out on checks, wasting servers time for free waters, etc. you would understand that as an entreprenuer it is NOT their responsibility to take care of someone else's 12 year old daughter. Especially not when they are as busy as they are on those weekend nights. I would recommend Streamers ice cream parlour to anyone who may happen to stumble on this because you truly won't find greater people, atmosphere, food, or ice cream dishes as good as they have at Streamers! Hope I could clear some things up and if it's your first time try their delicious Skookie!
Pros: amazingly upbeat personel
Cons: it is pricy but what do you expect for good food!

My husband and I went to Streamers for lunch during the week. While we were sitting and chatting waiting for our order 2 VERY large creatures crawled across the wall behind my husband. We pointed this out to one of the waitresses and she simply grabbed a napkin and got them. We asked to be moved to a different place and the waitress tried to explain that the creatures were coming in to get away from the heat and humidity. RIGHT! These were not little creatures, these were HUGE! This is infestation and we will never eat there again. We will, however, tell everyone we know about our experience.
