The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant franchise. Originally a hit for its frisky bar scene, Friday's is now known just as much for its kid-friendly entrees. The menu alternates between typical American fare (salads, potato skins, Angus burgers and grilled chicken) and modestly international cuisine like fajitas, wraps and pot stickers.

Brownie Obsession!!. If you like brownie sundaes, you must try the Brownie Obsession! I order mine sans ice cream... just the hot brownie with lots of hot fudge and pecans. Tostado nachos, chicken quesadillas, zen potstickers, Tuscan spinach dip are must-tries if you aren't watching your LDL levels. Jack Daniel's salmon is very good. I see the chicken pasta I loved years ago isn't being offered anymore, a shame.

Great place for everything!. The food, the drinks, the service! Outstanding! It was more than just a place to eat. Very friendly, laid back atmosphere.

Happiest Happy Hour. Though all the TGI's feature the same outstanding happy hour options, this location does them right. The have the best Long Island Iced Teas (just $3!) bar none. The extensive $1-$2-$3 appetizer menu takes care of a snack for one or a meal for a group. I love the Sesame Jack Chicken Strips ($3) and the Nachos ($3) aren't a smaler version of the original - great value! Service is great (Thanks Curtis!) and has that extra-friendly touch. Plus, this location features a smoking area which doesn't help me much but at least my friends are happy...
