Sick. The food here is usually good. However, last night I order roast duck and orange chicken. The food did not appear as though it was spoiled, but, within a few hours my son's stomach was cramping severely and he was vomitting non-stop. I even had diarrhea.

I'm not sure if the meat was undercooked or spoiled. Unless you like taking risk, I would advise you to eat elsewhere. I will definitely not dine-in or take-out food from Tao Gardens again.

un-pleasant dining. - dishes are too oily for your own good - chow mein dishes with Hong Kong-style noodles use a low grade egg noodle (instant ramen quality) that is bland and ruins the dish - won ton noodle soup uses inappropriate ingredients

- overall quality is no better than shopping mall Chinese fast food

Authentic Chinese food ar very reasonable price. The price is right, food is excellent and authentic plus quantity is generous. You will not regret for visiting this place.

Best Kept Secret. Tao Gardens is the No. 1 restaurant in Arizona when it comes to authentic Chinese cruisine. I've tried Great Wall, Big Wong and a number of other restaurants in Arizona. But nothing is better than Tao. It's worth the 30-mile one-way trip for me to dine at the restaurant. The food is tasty and matches any meal and even surpasses some restaurants I've tried in San Francisco's Chinatown and in Southern California. I've not had a bad dish and the prices are excellent. The menu selection is plentiful, offering beef, pork, chicken and fresh seafood selections. The crispy chicken, chow fun, hot and sour soup and mongolian beef are all quite good. The owner hires his chefs from Hong Kong and San Francisco, which shows in the food served.

Best Chinese Food in the Valley. This is a comfortable restaurant for business and social meetings with unbelievable fantastic good Asian food!! The vegetables are not overcooked, the sauces sublime, and the seafood is as fresh as the ocean. Great value and nice ambience.
