Not Profesional, They will try to scam you groupons!. If I could give a negative star to this place then I would based on customer service alone! I was so upset and felt so disrespected.

I had bought a Groupon for a cut and style at this salon.The outside is deceiving (labeled "salon" on the side of a strip mall kind of like great clips). On arrival to the salon I was pleased with the inside appearance is very good. I liked the style and the vibe. When I went to check in at the front the older gentleman at the counter was a little snippy with me, but I let it slide. He told me that he needed to see my group on and then he redeemed it. He informed my that my stylist was just finishing up and would be with me shortly. I was excited about my hair cut.

30 mins later I was still waiting in the waiting area. In the waiting area you can see the salon and I could see my stylist finishing off her client. so I decided to wait a little longer. 15 mins later a woman walked in, checked in and sat next to me in the waiting room. I could see that the stylist had finished and was cleaning up her space. 10 more mins passed at this point I was a little annoyed. I wish i was told ahead of time that I would be a while I could have gone to grab something to eat or done something other then sit around. AH finally ready to go. The receptionist looked over at me and said "Sorry we were a little late but your gonna have to wait a little longer this other client is going to be next, then it will be your turn." I have been waiting for an hour at this point for my appointment. I went outside to call and make an appointment at another salon, and informed the receptionist that I will not be getting my hair cut anymore. He was again very snippy with me and when I asked about a refund he told be that its not his problem and I will have to deal with groupon. I left feeling so annoyed, disrespected and that I wasted my time and gas.

While on the phone with group on one of the sales representatives informed me that asking for the group on ahead of time and making me wait and wait it a scam for horrible service and a way for the salon to take money for crap service. I was so me with this place and I never even got passed the waiting area.

Aveda salon. Services: I've had maybe 6 hair cut/color services at SR so far by 2 stylists, both of whom were very competent and professional and did good consults before each appointment. I found Katherine in particular to give good scissor cuts for my short, thick hair.

Hours: SR has some Monday and later afternoon/ evening hours to accommodate most clients. Reception has always been very accommodating to coordinate my appointment preferences as much as possible, even when I called with less than a week's notice.

Location: Can be a bit hard to locate at first as it's on the side of an Albertson's plaza, but it's very well situated off Bell Rd. near Loop 101.

Nice Salon, A Bit Pricey. Have only been there once and was serviced by Kirsten. She was very nice and did an excellent job. I wasn't too impressed by the owner who sits at the front desk and acts a little uptight about everything and isn't overly customer friendly. I had my daughter with me and she's younger and it seemed like the owner was watching her every move (my daughter is very well behaved), almost seemed like my daughter being there with me was not acceptable to the lady/owner. The place is small and they have a lot of stuff shoved in there so it does appear cluttered (especially in the front area). I did find $45 for a hair cut (shampoo/cut/style) to be a little Scottsdaleish pricing (Aveda salon or not), but I'll probably return because I did like the way Kirsten did my hair.

Salon Rituals Aveda Is AWESOME!!!!!. I recently went to salon rituals and has receied the best hair cut, that i could possibly MANAGE with..

The staff was well dressed and very welcoming... i was informed very well about the Aveda products since it was first time using the products.. I will defintly will be going back for more services...

Great massage and waxing!. I went to this salon hoping to feal welcomed I was. I am a male and wanted my brow tended to but was worried of course ( MALE NOT FEMALE / LIKE CHICKS). Kara did a great job and I recently went back for a facial and massage. I will be a returing customer thanks Kara.

great service!!!!!. I recently went to Salon Rituals and had an amazing experience. I took in pictures of what I was looking for and got exactly what I wanted. I understand that the staff has completely changed in the last year and I felt they were very professional and warm. I would definately recommend them and will be going back for color next time.

Not Scottsdale but not too bad. To be fair, I moved to the west valley from Scottsdale about a year ago and was accustomed to fabulous (even if fake) customer service and top of the line ammenities at my old salon and spa. Because of this my first impression of Salon Rituals was that it was cheaply decorated and seemed kind of messy and dirty. However, compared with other west valley salons I have since tried it is much better. The staff can be a little cold but I always get a great cut and color for a reasonable price. AND can always get a last minute appointment.

Happy Ritual!. I have been to numerous varieties of salons from VERY high $$ to cheap and I have been very happy with Salon Rituals. The decor is is very fun and chic, the product (of course) is wonderful since it's Aveda, and the staff is beyond cordial. After 2 appointments the receptionist new my name, things I liked and always made me feel so special in this big city! I have been very pleased with the salon, and love the girls there!

unpleasant experience. The stylist was awful. I brought in 2 pictures of how I wanted my hair cut, she glanced briefly at them & said "okay, I've got it". Needless to say my cut was not even close to what I wanted, I basically got a inexpensive quick in- quick out trim, and my sides are not even. Just made an appointment at another salon to get my hair cut. I'm not going back to Salon Rituals because the three people there seemed unhappy, and while cordial not at all friendly.
