Great Service for a destination wedding!

We tried to think of what we like the best about Starz Entertainment. The answer was the whole thing... we planned the event from accross the US and John did everything perfect. Everyone commented on how much they loved the music and the whole event. The online planner was very helpful with a cross country wedding. Everyone has commented that it was the best wedding they have ever attended.

Matt has been a DJ for our PTA for over a year now and has been so professional and gone above and beyond that now I have begun planning my daughters sweet 16 and son's graduation and I would not have anyone but Matt there!!! He is so fun and entertaining....thanks for great service every time!

A lot of fun, but didn't play my "must plays"

I had met with several DJ's when planning for my wedding and I was most impressed with Starz because they were very professional, and were very open and excited about some things I wanted to try at the reception. Overall, I think Eric was a lot of fun. He worked hard to do a good job and I?m not sure if I could have found a better DJ. There are, however, some things I wish he would have done differently. I have to admit I?m really picky when it comes to music but for the price I paid, I think my pickiness was justified. My main problem is that they gave me a list before hand to fill out my "must-plays?. However, they ended up playing very few of those songs but played songs that were still in the same genre, instead. I wish that if they were going to play that same type of music, that they would have made my ?must plays? a priority over other guests? requests, since it was my wedding and I was the one paying for them. Also, at one point someone must have requested swing music because he started playing it and a few couples got up and started swing dancing. That was great until about the fourth swing song he played in a row, not realizing that my new husband and I can?t swing dance and that was the only time in the night that we weren?t on the dance floor. I finally had to go up and say something so that he?d play something we could dance to. Overall, I do have to say he did a good job compared to the many wedding DJ?s I?ve seen and he really did try to please everyone. I still have people telling me about how great he was. If you?re looking for a DJ that?s going to be a crowd pleaser, Starz is it. Just know that in order to be a crowd pleaser, you may have to sacrifice some of your own wishes.
