HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I went to this restaurant a few weeks ago with some of my girlfriends and had an aweful experience and will never return again. We ordered a Margharita pizza and a Napolli pizza that had salomi on it. Well, my friends and all each tried a bite of the Napolli pizza and it was grotesque so we asked the server to take it away and bring us a margharita pizza instead. When the check was presented to us, we were charged for the Napolli pizza AND the additional Margharita pizza we ordered after we sent back the Napolli. At first, we thought it was a mistake that we were charged for something we didn't like so we asked to speak to the manager/owner of the restaurant (mauricio was his name). Well, the owner refused to take our pizza off of our bill and was extremely rude and unaccomodating. I am a concierge at a resort and will NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone ever again. In my experience, I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant in my life.
Terrible food, wine, service and management.. The service was slow and inattentive. The cheese and olive tray was boring and the pizza was over cooked, runny and tasteless. Our last glass of wine had a large amount of sediment in it. When we pointed it out to the owner, he would not replace it and said if we did not like it, we could leave and not come back. We certainly won't be back.
The atmosphere is charming both inside and out. The patio is set among a fireplace and twinkling trees. The inside is packed with customers enjoying dinner with friends and chatting with the owner.
I recommend both the indoor and outdoor seating depending upon weather.
Grazie has a great wine selection and menu. The pizza is straight out of Italy. The salads and antipasta's are also highly recommended. The food isn't necessarily "out of this world" but overall tasty.
If you have can, save room for dessert!!! The Hazelnut/Nuttela dessert is mouth watering!
Based on what other participants have written we took a friend there for a birthday experience. How sorry I was for this recommendation.
Lousy food, Lousy service, Lousy ambience and Lousy Management.
We had a reservation at 730, finally seated at 830. Ordered Pizzas which looked good coming out of the oven (while we were waiting we got to see most every variety) But they were salty, Chewie, and overcooked. Most everyone left food on their plate and didnt want take them home
The crust tasted burned. I had the shishkabob which was also oversalted and had a wine foil on the skewer. Pointing this out to the server she simply said "eiouuuu, i wouldnt eat that" . We also told the server how disappointed we were in the experience and food quality. She stood their in absolute silence, simply took the plate aways and brought the check (no comp, apology or anything else)
Told manager who was also the wine server about the poor experience with service and food and he said "sorry we're very busy and dont have time to follow up on your service, We dont need complainers in here" this style of pompous arrogance will drive this restaurant to failure.
Order Dominoes and get a bottle of wine from your local liquor store - the experience would be a whole lot better.
Best Italian Pizza In The Valley.
Fantastic. As the name implies(Grazie Pizzeria and Winebar), the main focus is pizza and wine. With a tremendous all-italian wine list and fresh, superb ingredients that form the perfect italian pizza, this place is amazing. Note that this is italian pizza, not Chicago or Brooklyn pizza. The thin crust is lightly charred from the wood-fired oven.
It has award winning salads, and award winning waitresses. It has very amiable owner who personally greets you and hails from rome. The appetizers and desserts should never be passed up. I have traveled extensivley throughout Italy and Sicily and have FOUND NO BETTER PIZZA. It is a must.
terribly rude and insulting owner /manager. we could not believe this, we had 2 orders arrived burnt,we asked a passing busboy if hed ask the waitress who we d briefly seen once to give our orders to, to please redo them,1 THIN crusted pizza arrived really burnt and it was so thin it was inedible, and 1 steak shish kabob had meat totally charcoled to the point of burnt and tough and inedible. A few minutes later a check is thrown , actually thrown at us on our table. we look at it and there's a bill for 3 drinks 1 salad and 1 pizza that had arrived ok., 1 of us got up and found a manager, maybe owner and said???"where are the other 2 orders, we didnt ask for the check?? he says rudley WE DONT REDO ORDERS YOU CAN LEAVE, NO ONE TOLD US THIS AT ALL, LET ALONE WE WERE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF THEY CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS ? we asked," you eat burnt meat?" he says I like it like that , you can go.;and so we paid for what we had and left and it was sadly supposed to be a b day celebration , f y i ,it was noisy and hot and crowded;. unbeleivable, also we've never been to an Ital rst that doesnt serve pasta this one doesnt , all they do is make you feel unwlecome;who ever heard of a place telling off customers instead of the chef who messed up the order? answer, the owner at this place
Great Pizza!. Great place. Pizzas are great, appetizers and desserts are worth squeezing in. So totally opposite a chain restaurant. Very refreshing, very worth going back to!
What a Joke!. Clearly the majority of people don't understand quality ingredients and food that is good, not mediocre. Average restaurants will continue to get high ratings because people are ignorant when it comes to food and drink. Read, learn, taste and let your palate become a bit more sophisticated.
