I dream about this place. After living in Scottsdale for a while, I now dream of my yearly vacation there so I can run, not walk, to Baja Fresh. Don't let the fact that this is fast food fool you, the food is so fresh and flavorful, it rivals some of the better mexican restaurants. The salsa bar is a great addition.

High tables and a busy open kitchen welcome diners into the spacious, brightly lit black-and-white interior. Just minutes after cashiers take customer orders, fresh-made tacos, burritos and enchiladas (stuffed with steak, chicken or seafood) arrive on the nearby counter. The menu also offers several plates of greens, from typical taco salad to fancier bowls with shrimp or mahi mahi. A stainless-steel bar offers several salsas, plus jalapenos, limes and cilantro for seasoning.
